Why is it so green outside? Expected ultimate brown on brown filth and leaving confused.

What size did you go with? 18x9 +30?

I figured someone would notice that. I busted it out of the box it's actually not for me, too harsh on the old man feet on all but the lowest setting.

Yes on the wheel size. That's what our neighborhood looks like my dude. We were not in a flood area and both us and our neighbors all spend $$$$ on landscaping/gardening.

The car has plenty of power for me. It has also been dead reliable for 6.5 years and I don't need to go poking sleeping bears.

:nice: that really does transform this chassis. My only regret on Alan’s mods was the lowering, B8s are good though.

My wife still drives this car from time to time. She would smash the splitter into a parking stop immediately and then ask me why this mod was needed, a question for which I no longer have answer at age 54.
She does appreciate the improved ride and zoom zoominess though. I put new strut mounts in as well so this should be a tight suspension for the remainder of its tour of duty.

I’d probably separate the 2 extra fronts in another ad … it’s confusing otherwise

Met my ex brother in law yesterday in San Diego. The following was completed on the Silver Bullet

1. Oil Change
2. Transmission Service (Fluid actually looked pretty good.)
3. New Power Steering Resevoir and flush (Resevoir has a filter in it and replacing it is part of the service.) Fluid was pretty bad.
4. Coolant Change (Existing Coolant was pretty nasty)
5. New Plugs and Coils
6. Install of the Maruta HID kit, which works great and throws no codes. A guy at the shop was a good fabricator, so the install is super clean, retains the factory rear access headlamp covers, etc.

I had an alignment when the new struts got put on 7K ago.........but either it was a bad alignment or I need to replace control arms/rubber (didn't look too bad, but IDK) and the inside of the Conti DWS 06s are worn out while I still have a D, W and S on the rest of the tire. Anyway, we'll buy some new tires, get a new alignment and keep and eye on the sitch.

I had always thought the inserts in the front bumper cover pictured above were to cover up the nonexistent headlight washer option. After pulling the bumper I realized they were doors, and the SB does have a headlight washer system that automatically pops out of the doors. When, you ask? When the headlights are on, and you have pushed the windshield washer switch FIVE TIMES. The automatic counter resets when the car is turned off. Not sure I have ever operated the washer five times with the lights on. Such optioned car, very wow.

I wonder if this is how my S4 works?

Also jealous of the HIDs. I have what are considered the best LEDs available on my Corvette now, but the light fill just isn't as good as HIDs, but RadioFlyer/SLI doesn't offer HID kits anymore.

I haven't really seen an LED aftermarket kit that comes close to OEM stuff. Yours are projectors though, right?

Morimoto Bi-LED projectors. Probably the best available on the aftermarket.
