Haven’t washed the H yet. Going to get it detailed in ~2 weeks. Parents are going to either pay for that or pay to have the windows tinted. I’m gonna get both done when I’m up visiting them and I’ll take them up on their offer to pay for one of them and let them pay for the cheaper of the two.

Posted this in OT but figured I might get better results here.

I'm looking for recommendations for a good :ramz: cleaner. And by good I mean easy, cheap, and effective, in that order. I want to just spray it on, wait, then rinse it off with good results. Go.

I have P&S Brake Buster. It's non acidic, but I don't think there's a wheel cleaner on the market that is completely touch free. To get the best results, you'll pay $400-500 to have your wheels cleaned and coated so that 90% of the brake dust either doesn't stick or sprays right off. I can show the difference between my coated S4 wheels and non coated Corvette wheels.

Like finding a woman who looks like the girl next door, fucks like a pornstar, cooks like a 5 star Michelin Chef, and pulls $IM+ a year. Not really out there. I buy Sonax in the gallon size and do a little touch up afterward.

Yeah, :dat: is NGH. As it was a shit ton of brake dust sprayed off from my simply spray waxing the wheels last year.

So this Brake Buster is spray on and rinse off? Spray on, wait then wipe off? How do you use it?

Breh is right. All products will need some sort of agitation. I bought a small wool wheel brush that looks like a sex toy for a few dollars. Spray shit on, let it sit, use the wheel brush for a minute per wheel, and spray off.

I bought Sonax wheel cleaner spray, and it was ok i guess. I won't waste my time with the stuff again. It's easy enough to just buy a few different styles of brushes to experiment with, and rub the wheel while hitting it with a hose.

Its German wheel cleaner. He has German car. Also it turns red when it hits brake dust.

Mario, welcome to Clan Funsponge.

That's what I've been doing, with a sponge with a very mild abrasive surface dipped into the bucket after washing the car. Works ok but sometimes I miss a spot and don't notice it until the next day.

 that's good man!

:yesth: The color changing feature is pure eye candy!

Like all things German, a bottle is exactly measured out for 1.5 wheel cleaning cycles, so you've got to buy two to round out three cleanings. They'll :pokebead: you and then tell you that the 0.5 is a bonus and that you should be thankful for whatever amount of Arian spooge you're been dispensed.

This always happens to me, if i really care I tend to move the car a foot or two and go after the wheels again. Sadly my car is filthy, with no date to clean it in sight. Maybe this week if it's slow.

It's probably not. I've been using Chemical Guys Honeydew Snow Foam in my little foam gun that attaches to the garden hose for quite awhile and have really liked it. This stuff I bought (GSF) is all the rage these days, I just wanted to give it a try.

I used the honeydew snowfoam once and went back to the meguires. I haven't washed my S4 in a month, and the C5 in at least two weeks. Been really lazy about it lately.
