I do have to say though...the thought of living in half the square feet of my garage makes you go "woah, hold up"
But its totally doable with a nice open plan and good outdoors space.

Even in our 2k ft house there is so much damn wasted space we simply don't use its almost sickening.
Hell there are tons of people that do the MTB bike thing and live out of fucking sprinter vans.

The only way I see it being possible is with a lot of use of vertical space and setting pretty much everything up to be "temporary" - i.e. whenever you want to do an activity or use a thing, you have to pull everything out and set it up before doing it and then tear it all back down and put it away afterward. You can't just have a project out on the workbench overnight, because the workbench is also your desk which is also your dinner table.Big Brain Bradley wrote: ↑Mon Oct 22, 2018 1:51 pm I do have to say though...the thought of living in half the square feet of my garage makes you go "woah, hold up"

We'd be tiny house people if reproducing wasn't a thing.
Or at least non conventional living.
