I was waiting till you got back. Let's take an example of a "non list" firearm of interest to me. https://www.wilsoncombat.com/berettawil ... r-tactical. If some guy from Vegas for instance, buys this gun with 10 round mags...........can he sell it to me PPT?

He would have to be a California resident. Cops are exempt.

Plus, you bought the standard capacity mags before the ban, or during "Freedom Week", right? ;)
Makes sense.

Fancy! I need to start out with some basics. Pew Pew broker has a CA CZ 75 in .45 ACP for $899.........which is NOT a deal but damn man it's hard to find anything atm.
CZs in .45 ACP are the 97s, as far as I know. But that’s only like a hundo more than what I can get one for here in NJ. That would be a phenomenal pickup.
Also, you could then send it to CZCustoms (in AZ I believe) for their 10mm conversion.
Correct.

I'm a Sig P22x and USP fan.

I have two more vintage P220's from the late 80's / early 90's that are marked "Made in West Germany", but I keep those stashed in Arizona.

Overpaying for some things with guns is fully expected in California.

Anyone not a friend charges crazy money for off roster handguns. Right now a Glock 43 goes for about $1000 for an off roster PPT.

Like I said before, find a cop and become his best friend.

California is a weird place. Do you really have to pay such a premium?

Yeah, there's no way to buy anything not deemed "safe" by the state, new. In order to get on the safe list you have to support a technology that doesn't really exist, microstamping. Therefore anything on the list is old and mostly out of production. Gen 3 Glocks are the latest approved.

Instructor from my class on Saturday suggested I look into getting some kit. Time to look into belts and mag carriers! So far, Blue Alpha Gear looks solid for a range belt option.

I have both of their EDC belts and they are great. I use the low profile the most though with the velcro.

I didn't think I would like it as much as the hybrid, but I like it more. It's fast, easy and zero bulk.

Based on those two belts I can give them a big thumbs up on quality!

Waiting on the “instant” NICS check to come back, but I paid for another CZ on Sunday. Pic from the googles for reference.

Image

CZ Drake over/under in 20ga.

Should be fun to bust some clays with. Plus, I feel fancy as hell holding the thing. I should be riding a stagecoach wearing a monocle fancy.
Pieces are wrapped in blue crushed velvet inside the case. :fancy:

Yeah, I’ve hit the range some. Usually for classes as that’s been almost easier than finding open range time. But being a member has its perks and I can always DM the girls on Facebook or something if I need to.
