Does the Willys get stiffer shocks as a more off-roady package? Interested to hear what you think after driving it around and commuting for a bit in it.

Direct linkage in my car made me realize just how awful the cable shifter was in the GTI. I’m not sure on the stiffer shocks, but I could see that being the case just with how it’s felt on a few bumps in the road. I am tempted to do the same thing myself and let my daughter scuff up the Brahoe but manual trucks are no fly zone with the woman. That would leave me with the 5 speed auto and I won't do that.

I dunno about all that... I liked the GTI stick shift. I think this comes down to personal preference. I also think Porsche cable shifters are disgusting. But I know plenty would disagree with me.
