Renaming my thread to Wap's Euro Travelogue so I can post all my Euro trips.

So as you know I just came back from a week in Italy. Spent 2 days in Venice, 2 days on Florence, and 3 days in Rome. Tapa sucks for typing text do I'll just dump some pics and can answer questions from a real keyboard later.

It's 100 meters high. Fortunately there's an elevator to take you to the top!

Venice was a very neat little city to just walk around and get lost in. Those narrow little back streets were just so cool. The city is actually made up of about 120 small islands connected by 404 little bridges. There are no cars, motorcycles, or even bicycles allowed. The police, fire, and even amberlamps are all boats. It makes for a very quiet city.

But surprisingly not smelly. But it must have stunk to high hell back in the day when they just dumped their raw sewage in the canals. :gag:

We saw a kid fall in when we were there. Probably needed some shots after that!

:fuckyeah: pics, mah :wap: !!

These remind me of Assassin's Creed II, which I want to start playing now because it took place in Florence, Venice and Rome.

What is :mindblown: is the fact that you had an identical iternerary to me. Did you swing by Pisa also? That place turned super sketchy at night.

Try reality. It's better.

That's funny, but if you think about it, not really all that surprising. These are basically "the big 3" must-visit cities in Italy, so I'm guessing many people would do a pretty similar itinerary, either Venice>Florence>Rome, or Rome>Florence>Venice, since both V and R have big airports.

Didn't have enough time to see Pisa this trip, but there are a lot of places we'd like to see on a subsequent visit, including Pisa, Verona, Sienna, Capri, etc.
