Our last day trip from Geneva was to Montreux by bus from Lausane, which we again reached by train. Saw the Freddie Mercury statue. It was actually a bit moving. We then took a bus along the lake shore to the town of Chillon to see Chateau Chillon, an 11th century castle that was last upgraded in the 1500's. That castle was one of the highlights of the trip.

When we got back to Lausane, before taking the train back to Geneva we stopped for dinner at a creparie. :drool:

Last pic from our last evening in Geneva. We took a tram to the European headquarters of the U.N. We couldn't go inside but I wanted a pic. It was the only rain we had on the whole trip.

Overall everything went very smoothly, and there were no major hassles or frustrations whatsoever. Careful, thorough pre-planning really paid off for us again. 5/7 trip to a 5/7 country.
