After the short hike from the peak of Mt Rigi back to the cog railroad, we took it to another village about halfway down the mountain where we caught a VERY steep cable car down the rest of the mountain to the town of Weggis, where we caught a boat back to Lucerne.

Nice!!
I've been to Lucerne once when I was probably 8 or 9, my parents and uncle rented an Opel Zafira and drove it to Nice!

Before moving on to Geneva, here are 3 pics from Bern, the capital.
First two are details of their Gothic cathedral, and the 3rd one is of their medieval clock tower, from about the 1400's.
