At least it tries to mask utility and style and makes "some" sense in your case. I was talking actual COUPE not the made up word they use to describe the other 4 doors.Desertbreh wrote: ↑Thu Jan 25, 2018 6:12 pmStyle bro. That was the verdict over here.max225 wrote: ↑Wed Jan 24, 2018 6:15 pm
I don't get the argument for the 4 series.
1. It is more expensive
2. It doesn't perform any better
3. It doesn't weigh less
4. It costs more
5. It is LONGER
6. It has less doors.
Why on earth would anyone get the coupe version of the car when those are the stats.

We've gone over this Max. 4 > 3. Therefore the 4 series is better than the 3. Everyone knows this.

Honestly though.... bmw spent decades conditioning ppl that a higher number is better and then just went and slapped random badges on the same vehicle to signify superiority. I don’t blame most ppl for not knowing

In news... it seems that most don't have JLs on the lot so I may have to delay my test drive schedule.
most have only 1 if that on the lot... so I doubt they'll let me test drive such a rare and coveted vehicle.

Homegirl lives in Russia bro. Gotta show any woman you're gonna do what you're gonna do car shit wise.
I'm kind of puzzled that my gf seems to have zero reservations with me dropping $30k on a Poorsche.

You should show her a 914 and ask her what she thinks of that
Speaking of BMW. My co worker has a 328i that is about a 2013... so .. .it is already an F30, but that thing reeks of crayons... only 49k miles on it also. I guess older german cars still do the crayon thing.

Don't think I'd be too concerned about the car buying thoughts of someone I was "dating" who resided in Сибирь.

So I drove this ...
Honda Civic hatch Sport manual
Honestly i think this is going to be very likely my next car.
Highlights
1. Great suspension, very sporty yet compliant felt as good or better than my 335, without having the need to go into sport mode
2. Great seats
3. Loved the shifter and clutch
4. Personally I really like the styling
5. 22.9k msrp
6. Azn liked it too
Lowlights:
1. Pos stereo
2. No keyless
3. Everyone in “high school “ drives one

I can't get into the styling on these at all.
You sure you will be happy with this one in 6 months?

It is just such a great DD. And if I don’t like It i don’t have much to lose at all. With the Jeep it’s quite different doeCorvetteWaxer wrote: ↑Sun Jan 28, 2018 11:05 ammax225 wrote: ↑Sun Jan 28, 2018 10:38 am

Any comments on the MT itself or rev hang? They catch a lot of shit for rev hang and dumpy shifter feel. You gonna test the DaveSTR spec one?max225 wrote: ↑Sun Jan 28, 2018 10:38 am

Also curious on thoughts on the AC, turbo lag, etc. Might not have driven it enough to experience heat soak. Is it loud at highway speed?
Also, why this instead of a leftover 2017 GTI? I guess it'll depreciate less.

1. MT is great clutch is super easy to work and clutch throw is short. Pedals are metal and shifter knob is really heavy it was one of the best manuals for my Personal liking. I have no idea who doesn’t like this. Jk wrangler was the single worst in comparison
2. Not loud on freeway but not quiet. It was quieter than the wrx I drove.
3. Engine is ok. Pretty linear power delivery but you do have to rev it a bit... doesn’t like being under 2000. Feels about as quick as a wrx to me
4. Why not gti? I thought about it... but price of entry on the civic is less, it runs on regulAr it handles pretty much the same, and it isn’t an egg.
5.Don’t know about ac didn’t use it
