Joined the center caps club today. They were the right finish and the dude met me a mile from my place. They'll match better once I find a decent place to wash my car.

the Z0sex wheels are still so good.
Man I can't wait to get up to NY and work on this thing.
Leaked like a MFER at the car wash today
I do wish I had money to throw some Toyos on the rear right now but another $550-$600 just isn't in the cards this month.
No luck with the LMC5 or the supplied "unlocker" tool. Waiting for a response back to see if I may have missed something.
Wish I could help out on this but man... I bought my in 2014 and did this in the first six months, I really remember nothing about it other than it was a thing everyone said to do.

It's very easy if the column isn't locked. Once it's already stuck locked though it becomes a PITA. I'm thinking the actual solenoid on the column is bad now.
Got the column unlocked by tapping the lock itself with a hammer then using the unlocker tool. Still got the pull key message and fuel cut a couple times though so I'll go back in sometime this week and check over the wiring again. At least it's drivable now.
Trans is grinding really badly in 5th and 6th, sometimes in 4th also. Probably gonna drop the car off at the shop to see if anything is out of adjustment, but also MAYBE have them find me a MN12 from a Z.
Most likely not. I'm sure the dealer just put whatever GM uses in it a couple years ago. Luckily I found a great Indy Corvette shop here.
Who is that?
I don't remember the exact details but I did a fluid swap, maybe to the Redline, in my Corvette and it improved things a lot, reduced the 4th gear occasional grinds significantly.

Ace's Automotive in Matthews.
There were multiple track/auto-x prepped cars there the last time I went.

Yes it's a cool car. But prepare the lube/sawdust.
