Took his leased car in and got another juan.
Yeah, there was a whole thread about the Rudy love or something.
Once again can’t thank you enough for helping me out with this. I’m still bugging Jim about my damn registration.

since i'm essentially rudy's neighbor, i'll explain the deets.

It's an SE. However, mk7.5 changed the options a lot. It does not have leather seats nor fender. But it does have the performance package specs, and the sunroof. The speedo is exactly the same as my mk7, so no digital speedo. But dat head unit :jizz:
Oh wow so the leather+moonroof went to the higher spec's now? It was super confusing since it was previously reserved for autobahns only.
Leather was optional. They had a white SE with leather. It was nice but I wanted the red with plaid because plaid is :fuckyeah: and red is an actual color

Might be the only snafu in all of this - because it's out of state, sometimes we're at the mercy of other states' processing times.
I told him I know it takes a while to process. But I wish y’all would’ve given me a temporary plate that didn’t expire in 2.5 weeks lol.

He said it should be shipped out tomorrow. I asked him if it won’t what can we do? And he said they can send me a notarized paper pretty much explaining that my car is already registered and plates are in transit.

Yeah, that's a NJ thing - not us. We can't issue temp tags longer than 20 days for out-of-state. Something that's maintained constant no matter what store I work for.

Stupid, really - because most in-state registration work is done within 2 weeks, out of state always takes at least 2 weeks.
Oh I didn’t know that. I just know Virginia traffic :narc: are terrible when it comes to traffic violations.

Funny thing is i only opted for the SE, cause of the fender and moonroof, but not the leather. But when i was checking out rudys interior with his sound equalizer with bass etc. it felt weird not finding the subwoofer section lol.

And all gti came with leds as standard now too. Its kinda the same thing for 2010 gti when things were alacarte for options.
