Not really. Power steering pump/hoses, leaking valve covers, shit that should be happening to to 250K mile cars. She doesn't tell me the truth because it drives me fucking crazy and and I want to throw her in the trunk and go to a Toyota dealer but that's not the way it works. I asked her why there was tape goo on her roof. "Because the seal around the door is cracked so when it rains my door fills with water." She's just watching me when she says this to see if my eyes dialate or my head starts actually spinning around.

Well in her defense it rarely rains there?

My friend's 2020 Lotus also had a door that filled with water when it rained. Helps give that deep THUD like a true luxury car. Keep the Lucerne

No Dan. There is no defense to accepting a door panel that fills with water without repairing it. There is a procedure called a "car wash" which would also produce similiar negative results.

I obviously don’t know this woman, but from what you’ve said, I don’t think it’s a stretch to assume that she doesn’t wash the car regularly enough for that to be of concern any more than rain is..

I'm lazy about maintenance now that I don't drive. Haven't washed a car in a few years besides occasionally running a shop vac inside. I gave away a bunch of tools 2 years ago before the move. The car has had a front wheel bearing or axle on the way out for at least a year.

That gen Nissan Sentra is the only rental car my mom has ever returned for being so shitty. My mom, who at the time was driving a 2006 Subaru Legacy, returned a 2018 Nissan Sentra to Enterprise because she hated it.

I mainly use the internet for learning how I'm about stuff. That and cat videos.

She is off to test drive the Nissan, which has an asking price of $11,500. She is a faithful follower of the LJC. If he truly existed, he would start an electrical fire in that car before her arrival.

She actually drove a 2017 Altima with 39K miles. I could live with that.

Saturday is a 2013 Buick Verano
