Does anyone have anything to say about Car Covers? Best brand, best composition, "don't use plague of the earth" etc?
"No sir, this car cover won't scratch at all! It's super soft and engineered to be gentle!"
, I've never seen on that doesn't scratch.

Yeah this is not for a Ferrari GTO. This is to cover a vehicle that may be parked in a garage for 2-4 weeks with a street value of $8K. The idea is to unwrap and have a clean car, not load it on the trailer for Pebble Beach. If forced at gunpoint to use a car cover, then what?

Here's what I'm dealing with at the new job. That's concrete/cement dust that's bonding to the ceramic coating. My car is the only one at work with this problem. Also the only one coated.

It comes off except for the scratches put in when I put my windows down by mistake. But I really don't want to be washing my cars 5 days a week.

I have a carcovers.com cover for the 944. I want to say it is the platinum cover. The car sat outside covered for 5 or 6 months, and the cover held up great. I would buy again.

Yeah but deets
I was driving my friends from Greensboro to CLT, and before getting in the car I said if you think you have to puke, tell me and I'll pull over because I don't want that shit near my car. Anyways we get about an hour into the drive and the dude in the back says "pull over I'm gonna throw up", right as I get into the left most turn lane with an Escalade up my ass so of course I couldn't get to the shoulder or stop. He just blew chunks out the window and good old Audi had to put felt/suede window seals in these cars. I bought tooth brushes that I'll have to use tomorrow to try to clean what I couldn't scrape out with a flat head screw driver today.

He would if I asked. I bought some tooth brushes and I'll try to take care of the rest that I couldn't get yesterday.

A good friend would offer. You shouldn’t ask you’re cleaning his :puke: man

100% I'd feel horrible if I did that to a "friend". I wouldn't let them clean it themselves, I'd be helping at a minimum.

Detail? Nah… the cars totaled. A new car is in order.
