Evo 9 is my fav … peak analog Japanese boy racer imo.

Haven't driven an Evo, but a friend of mine who owned one for several years and drove my STi said the same thing.

Ah I have no seat time in an evo. I could see that being the case. But overall capability wise at least stock, should be similar. The 2015 STI closed the gap noticeably since it finally included torque vectoring.
