Adjuster came out and looked over the car. He took a paint gauge to the the repaired panel and noted that there was a ton of body filler by the repairs. The depth was 34 mm vs the hood where it's only 6. He also noticed some scratches on the roof that can be polished out.
The rocker panel is also starting to separate a bit. They used some sort of adhesive which looks to be failing. I'll call cavallos about that today. But overall he said they did a nice job.
He's going to write it up and I should know by next Wednesday what I'm getting.

Seriously. It's almost like they didn't replace the rear quarter.max225 wrote: ↑Wed Jul 12, 2017 11:43 am1.5" of filler how?Gberg2119 wrote: ↑Wed Jul 12, 2017 10:43 am Adjuster came out and looked over the car. Yeah I'm all . Maybe mm isn't the right measurement but I watched him put the paint gauge on the hood then the quarter. It was 6 something and then it jumped to 34 when he measured the quarter. He also measured the driver side and that was 6 something too.
Maybe. He said it was probably held on by double sided tape and stressed when they took it off.

I assumed those things are probably held together with double side tape on edges.

34 mils = 0.864 mm

6 mm of paint on the hood would be almost 1/4 inch!

They did a shitty job putting the car back together. Should have done that initially?[user not found] wrote: ↑Wed Jul 12, 2017 1:19 pm Also, I fail to see the scumbag move here.
Probably tried to reuse the original rocker, and it's warped or damaged from removal, so they're doing the right thing and they're replacing it.
They're doing the right thing.

Was away for a week and now I'm going bonkers to catch up on life stuff. It was also raining today.
I love the color when it's clean. Hopefully tomorrow after work.
