I think he forgets I work for Porsche and drive a Corolla Hybrid, which is a closeted Prius. If it was any more of an appliance it would be a toaster oven.

Vehicle was acquired. Thread done.
I'm a bitch ass cuck that bought a lesbianmobile. But even worse, after driving it quite a bit, I REALLY like it. More than I think I would the MINI even. That makes my contributions to the car section of this forum now worthless. I shredded my car guy card, and I'll focus on OT from now on. Have fun gear heads, sorry for the epic
I forgot I'm a mod, I may lock this thread.

Hard not to like a brand new car. Hell I like a brand new toaster, let alone something that has 0 farts and has brand new OCD stickers everywhere.
Staying power will be the key indicator. I mean hell you saw me post about cross trannys way back. I considered one as a tie over before the Mini... just Didn't like the 2.slow. I wanted to get a 2.5with 0 options . Unfortunately they don't exist.
I am curious about your real world mpg. Not 55mph highway but tank averages. For![]()
MPG will be interesting. I got it with a full tank and drove 250 miles home and used half. Filled it up at Costco today and the readout said 500 mile range on full.

The transmission is more than fine, and I hate CVTs. The 2.5 is very adequate, they should axe the 2.0.

Yea, but this will soon be the only car in the household. Full cuck bitch, my wife's boyfriend is coming over later in his 911 Turbro to piss on the car.fledonfoot wrote: ↑Fri Jul 02, 2021 7:04 pmI think he forgets I work for Porsche and drive a Corolla Hybrid, which is a closeted Prius. MPG will be interesting. I got it with a full tank and drove 250 miles home and used half. Filled it up at Costco today and the readout said 500 mile range on full.16.6 gal tank, so the car thinks it's getting 30mpg overall, and it only has 300 miles on it. And it wasn't driven home gently.
The transmission is more than fine, and I hate CVTs. The 2.5 is very adequate, they should axe the 2.0.
Curious to hear more updates as you rack up the miles

After our experience renting the Prius prime I have a new respect for them to be honest. I think Chris is being too hard on himself, life is always changing and sometimes going for something that is just easy and works is the best way.

Car isn't named, at least not that I've heard. I'm not going to push for it.

It’s honestly a perfect car. It goes forwards and backwards and around corners. It’s got comfortable seats and great visibility. Tons of airbags and safety tech, decent radio, CarPlay/android auto, cruises well at 80mph and gets 55mpg no matter how you drive it, and $24k MSRP.D Griff wrote: ↑Sat Jul 03, 2021 6:21 amfledonfoot wrote: ↑Fri Jul 02, 2021 7:04 pm

Over the course of 120k miles it will require a set of tires, 10 oil changes at $50 each at a dealer after the first two free ones, two air filters at $40, and maybe a set of brakes.I will spend less on maintenance in 120k miles (including brakes and tires) than a Macan owner will spend in just 20k.

Nice man. I’m gonna go look at a Honda Fit later from the dealership that gave me the $30k cash KBB offer for the Jeep.. waiting for them to finish taking inventory of it and detail it and what not.
Insurance for the Jeep jumped up nearly $450/month after I hit that dude in the intersection in Nov/Dec, which is insane. Fit insurance would drop me $350 from my current payment, plus I wouldn’t have a monthly car payment, so instant savings if $550/month plus double the fuel economy.
