A base Jetta isn't a bad budget car, doe.

But yeah, I'd recommend a Japanese appliance.
Legit, Mazda seems like the right answer. He apparently likes things that are "fun" and Mazdas have that in spades combined with the reliability he needs. A 3 hatch or CX3 seems to be pretty ideal for :crang:
If only SOMEONE HAD suggested that the day his crangshaft went kablooy!

Yeah I don't know why we are ruling out VW at this point the guy loved his car and the new warranty makes the LTR issue moot. Bi-Xenon4lyfe. If he's still scraping by in Hoboken in 6 years, that's on him.
Because he'll t00n it or something stupid and end up right back where he started. Also, the :dillerman: closest to him is pretty terrible from the sounds of things.
He could buy from [user not found] like :narc: did, :doe:

But who should he go to? I wish SOMEONE would tell him!

Tarspin's house?

I don't have any yet. :iswydt:
You are the rock bestown
into the depths of my oil pan,
the subtle unsettling
upon my subframe.
As you sink below my bumper,
don't fear that you may disappear
like all the pebbles before you--
from you the
stillness in my crangshaft
ripples out and echoes sweet
from the deepness
that lives inside the two point zero tee.

FWIW, they had to remove the PCV valve to do the camshaft work. And reinstall it. But you can't really inspect it, so if they didn't tell you to replace that, they're really just out to fuck you over because these things lead to massive repair bills when they fail.

Fuck that car.

If you want a VW, the new ones come with a long warranty.
If you can't afford a new VW, don't look at VWs.
I'd suggest a jap car of sorts.
Hyundai's long ass powertrain warranty isn't transferable as far as I know.

Let the search for HIDz commence.
so you're saying this probably caused that? leaks from multiple areas?

It definitely is possible. I'd put my money on them doing sub-par work to keep you coming back. They were all too happy to provide a quote.

Bail on the car man, now's the time.

It is. And a pretty low mile car too. But Id just get on a forum and buy one used for a few grand less. Might have more miles though.

If anyone wants it, just message me. I have the ability to dill, just don't be a :dong:
True. At the advertised price it’s high. But with some work on your end I’m sure it could be a better deal.

The kind of person going to look for one at a dealership is also going to pay differently than men.

It gives no warnings and there is no way to check it. But shitty of them to not suggest a new one with so much work being done. They don’t care about you at all.
