negatives dawg. I need to use if for 2 years then we can talk.
I'll also likely be between $1k and 1500 for a take off bed in the future, but then the will be mint.
Deets on pricing. Truk was busted and trans was toast. Company was offered $2200 on trade as-is in poor shape needing work with high miles.
I was offered truk at $2200, which I agreed. My dad felt bad for getting me nothing for christmas and told me I could have the truck for 1k.
I finally got a dill. Hell I had to pay like $4500 for a not running cummins.

I didn't think it looked like the 1.8 IM so you're probably right that the head is 2.0. I seem to remember the air box/filter and TB were on the driver's side of the engine in my 'Rocco, which was a 1.8, while this one is on the left, if I'm not mistaken.dubshow wrote: ↑Mon Feb 18, 2019 3:55 pmunsure honestly. it was one of the 3 engines I got with the car. the 1.8 actually was out of fax's old old cabby. I guess it was a junk yard pull. the bottom is a 2.0 and I think the current head is a 2.0. That throttle body is off a 16v passat with auto trans which has a TPS for efi. The manifold is a 50mm euro one.
Wait till you see the motor Im building. bored over to 2.1L aba long stroke block with all the forged bits and high comp pistons. and a 1.8 ported 16v head with autotech cams and HD springs.
Ah yes. Head is same. It's the intake manifold that changes. On early cars TB was on driver side. Later it moved to the pass side. Both manifolds bolt up to either head. I have the scirroco style manifold too but it's 42mm. The ULTRA rare manifold is the 50mm scirocco.wap wrote: ↑Mon Feb 18, 2019 5:38 pmI didn't think it looked like the 1.8 IM so you're probably right that the head is 2.0. Interesting. Didn't know the manifolds were so interchangeable. Wait, 50mm what, throttle body or intake runner id? What year Scirocco had a 50mm whatever?dubshow wrote: ↑Mon Feb 18, 2019 6:18 pmAh yes. Head is same. It's the intake manifold that changes. On early cars TB was on driver side. I have clients that come in giant King Ranches and other brand new full sizes and I just gawk at the prices of those things. Meanwhile I've got a $3K beater that's still running solid at 230K miles that I could give two shits about other than keeping it running good. Big and new is nice, but man, at what cost? I thought my $400/mo note for the GTI was high, but man, some of these $50-70K trucks have got to be setting these people so far backdubshow wrote: ↑Wed Feb 20, 2019 8:59 amBig Brain Bradley wrote: ↑Wed Feb 20, 2019 7:13 am

his is bizness doe. He literally traded his last one in because it had a buzzing noise in the dash. For the EXACT SAME FUCKING TRUCK save the next year (2018) from 2017 was a pearl white
