Did the lymph node thing start on the first or second round? How long did you have elevated heart rate after each shot? Any trouble breathing at any point?max225 wrote: ↑Thu Dec 02, 2021 11:26 pmYep no doubt having done other things that increase heart rates … the vaccine was likely the biggest/longest increaser of it for me…Tarspin wrote: ↑Thu Dec 02, 2021 10:45 pm Other things I learned visiting these germ pods is:
1.) heart swelling is definitely a very common side effect, Cardiologist sees it often, as does the EKG tech
2.) my family doc has seen some incredibly weird shit happening to people after getting vaxxed
3.) basically all of the heart issues resolve themselves over time with little observed damage
4.) VID patients do come in with heart damage after the fact
Pick your poison.
And that’s a bit disturbing. Not to mention the swollen lymph nodes under the arms for 3-7 days after.

No breathing trouble. The lymph shit started second shot. It was supremely uncomfortable too. Heart was 5 days first time 3 days second time

I still feel heaviness on my chest and it's 1.5 months in, so that's concerning me. I need to get my second shot or it's going to mess with my professional life soon, either that or they can give me an exemption to save me from all that (which I doubt). I'm really glad to see that the second round was shorter for you, I could hope for that outcome too.
Thanks mang, glad to get your feedback. My neighbor had the lymph node swelling too, woman in her 50s, and her BIL had the heart thing (but for an entire month)! Good times.

Hell, they swell for the flu vaccine for some people, too.
My lymph nodes usually swell to some degree any time I'm sick.

The same can be said about elevated heart rate, technically the body probably needs higher blood flow to fight off viruses and keep clots from happening. It might all be "normal".[user not found] wrote: ↑Fri Dec 03, 2021 8:31 am Lymph nodes being swollen are a sign of an immune response. Nothing to be that alarmed about.

You're right. I should have told my surgeon and CICU nurses to stop wearing their masks around me because they clearly don't work and can cause harm.

I had a node in front of my left clavicle swell for over a week after my first shot, but nothing after my second or after my booster.

I bought a home BP monitor on the advice of my cardiologist and have been taking my readings daily for about a month now. My average HR over that time is around 76 bpm but on the day of my booster it jumped to 93 and the day after it was 90. The next 2 days it was 80 then it dropped back down to the 70's.Tarspin wrote: ↑Fri Dec 03, 2021 9:03 amThe same can be said about elevated heart rate, technically the body probably needs higher blood flow to fight off viruses and keep clots from happening. I picked one up from Costco too, typically i'm in that range too under normal conditions. They are handy to have around!wap wrote: ↑Fri Dec 03, 2021 10:24 amI bought a home BP monitor on the advice of my cardiologist and have been taking my readings daily for about a month now. Yeah. My cardiologist wanted me to get one because my numbers are always high when I see him so he wants to see what they are at home. I set up a simple Google Sheets spreadsheet that I record my numbers in daily so I can just pull it up on my phone to show him the next time I see him. The unit I bought has BT capability but the reviews I read say the ap blows so I just went with the G-Sheets method and didn't bother to install the ap.Tarspin wrote: ↑Fri Dec 03, 2021 10:50 amI picked one up from Costco too, typically i'm in that range too under normal conditions. The easiest is dietary change, namely, cut out salt. Otherwise, exercise, yoga, etc, helps. Also, breathing exercises and learning to calm yourself down (yoga can help with this), though admittedly much easier said than done. Otherwise, there are drugs that are used to control elevated HR.
I am pro-vax as noted here but I certainly would be hesitant to get more in your case as well. Interestingly here, I think you could get along perfectly normally without it, mostly just dependent on your employer. Many places have signs saying things like 'wear a mask if unvaccinated for the 'VID". It's funny because I'd be willing to bet 80% of people donning masks in these establishments are vaxxed. Around here, most anti-vaxxers are also anti-maskers and it's more of a 'but muh rights' thing than any kind of actual medical/scientific concern.Tarspin wrote: ↑Thu Dec 02, 2021 10:26 pmHealth Canada is the one who wants me to go ahead with the second dose, and were going to tell me to proceed with it, but the cardiologist says that she recommends I have my lungs looked at too (at least an x-ray she says). HC rep calls me after each appointment to get more info, and was pissed that the cardiologist prolonged the process further with her concerns. It's a weird vibe, I feel like the lady that calls me from HC sounds by the whole process. I'm not sure how it is in PA, but here if you're not vaxxed your life is a fucken misery thanks to restrictions. I'm so over this whole thing.[user not found] wrote: ↑Thu Dec 02, 2021 10:13 pm
I thought your doctor advised you to not continue with another dose?
My employer seems to encourage vaccination in a lot of ways but if you're an office drone who can work remote, there is really no reason you must get it and in fact if you don't you pretty much avoid the thought of going back the the office.

Yep, no access to watching the kids at indoor activities, no restaurants, no flights, and work places that add vaxxed only entry are also off limits. Meanwhile, these things stop working after 6 months and barely cover variants, so there are all kinds of provaxxed yet unprotected people pointing their proverbial fingers my way thinking "shame, shame". There's a fine line between despair and hilarity here. This is where socialism falls apart.Desertbreh wrote: ↑Fri Dec 03, 2021 5:16 pmNorth Carolina is filled with BBQ eating rednecks who realize that freedom always trumps an imaginary illness concocted by Nancy Pelosi. And now we see why some people are so vocal against "Vax Nazis". But instead it gets reduced to "Anti Vaxx trumpers trying to kill grandma trying to bathe in horse tranquilizer". Shitty ass situation all around because people are unwilling to see the other side, period.

In NYC, they accept a photo of your vax card on your phone. Maybe 25% check ID against it. My wife's cousin isn't vaxxed, he uses a random photo of a vax card he found online and gets in most places ZFG.
It's a joke.

A picture of a vax pass accompanied with photo ID that has a matching name works great. In not sure what the fine is for producing a fake

Of all the things I’ve been to requiring it, one concert actually checked and it was like a quick glance at best. Could’ve shown a picture of a piece of loose leaf and gotten in.

Catching Omicron might be the best case scenario if one is looking for actual immunity against more severe versions. I like where this is going, especially for people who aren't getting 4 shots.

I got my 3rd Pfizer about an hour ago. I suspect Pfizer would shoot you 10 times if the .gov would pay for it.

So yesterday my boss got a bad headache, and toward the end of the day was looking BAD. We kicked him out of our zoom meetings and told him to go rest and we'll handle the day.
He just told me that he got a postive test result and feels like absolute misery. He's fully vaxx'd, 30y/o in excellent shape, we'll see what happens. It's taking him DOWN tho...
In person team meeting in Detroit next week, looks like I'll be leading. I'd cancel it if I could, would rather stay home.

I went to my first superspreader since the VID started, a "celebration of life" for wife of a good client who basically got taken down by Leukemia @ age 56 in 4 months. I put a mask on during the church ceremony but then grabbed a back table at the restaurant and went unmasked to consume a few glasses of red wine (which was outstanding.)
My motto is if you're going to go down, at least get the VID while you're eating and drinking, not in church.
