ID4 is about the lamest car IMO.
The owner of the place I work at has an Etron Sport back S, in gray with yellow calipers and it honestly looks really hot.
When they switch the name to Q8 e-tron this year the range is going from 215mi in the current one to 350mi+. Could be a contender if you can wait a few months.

350+? That seems like a huge bump in range. There isn't a single VAG product with over 300 miles so that would be interesting to see. Also Q8 based EV must be cresting 100k?CaleDeRoo wrote: ↑Wed Nov 23, 2022 12:52 pm ID4 is about the lamest car IMO.

And yes the ID4 is "lame" but it does seem to have high 200s in range and goes 0-60 in sub 6 seconds so it's not like terrible... but clearly not the pick of the litter as far as looks.

The current Etron is Q8 based as well and starts at $70kmax225 wrote: ↑Wed Nov 23, 2022 2:07 pm350+? That seems like a huge bump in range. I asked my friend when they are hitting dealers and he just said next year, but nothing specific.

The Q4 Etron is on the same platform as the ID4, but has physical buttons and the same virtual cockpit as other Audi models instead of the small tacked on thing the ID4 gets.max225 wrote: ↑Wed Nov 23, 2022 2:07 pm350+? Yea the Q4 is a huge no from me as it’s just slapping an Audi badge on vw product, really not a fan of that. There is 0 performance benefit also.CaleDeRoo wrote: ↑Wed Nov 23, 2022 5:10 pmThe Q4 Etron is on the same platform as the ID4, but has physical buttons and the same virtual cockpit as other Audi models instead of the small tacked on thing the ID4 gets.max225 wrote: ↑Wed Nov 23, 2022 2:07 pm

Bro, its her car. She needs to pick it. If your married you get right of refusal on like 1 critical issue (cost, reliability issues, milage).
Everything else is a recipe for disaster.

My neighbor had an order in and they called him a couple of months back and were like 'we don't have your order but have five on the lot' so he went in and bought one. ID4s are around.
The new Cadi seems like the way to go IMO. That is not much more money than the ID4 and way better.

Seems like the factory in TN is running full steam ahead. They do seem to be heavily favoring the top tier trims around 53k vs the entry level 37k trim... but I'd be looking at the top tier trim either way.

What about the part where looking at an ID4 makes you want to kill yourself?
