The standard calculation they use so factor your usage/depreciation is (Purchase Price x Mileage)/120,000. $40k purchase price on a car car driven 15k miles means they'll offer you $35k for the car.Gberg2119 wrote: ↑Fri Feb 07, 2020 1:58 pmI asked that too. All this waiting just for them to tell me they're going to discuss it with me next week.max225 wrote:
Another week...
Possible new if they don't try to get me in a 2019. I'm going to have to buy a car asap.

Means I'd get around $28k for it.fledonfoot wrote:The standard calculation they use so factor your usage/depreciation is (Purchase Price x Mileage)/120,000. $40k purchase price on a car car driven 15k miles means they'll offer you $35k for the car.

This is a idea if VW doesn't want to put me in a new R. Lease a new 2020 Si. With 0 down that pushes it to close to 300 a month which isn't bad at all.

You driven one? They're pretty great... I came so close, kind of wish I'd gone that route over the BMW.Gberg2119 wrote: ↑Mon Feb 10, 2020 6:30 pm This is a idea if VW doesn't want to put me in a new R. Lease a new 2020 Si. With 0 down that pushes it to close to 300 a month which isn't bad at all.

Can't have sport and Si hatches I guess. I'd definitely prefer a hatch too as the sedan is just but I'd still drive it for cheap.max225 wrote:I still don’t understand why Honda doesn’t make the si hatch. I can’t stand the sedan or the coupe the hype R is too much this would be a great alternative

Wasn't that only around for a year or two though?Johnny_P wrote:I really don’t understand why they didn’t give the Si an option for the DCT from Acura this time around. I’d just go get one of them if it had it.
What about a used ILX A-spec?

The dct? Still in the Acura products. I don't really like the ILX. Its just a worse 9th gen Si, a car I didn't really care for anyway.Gberg2119 wrote: ↑Tue Feb 11, 2020 8:54 pmWasn't that only around for a year or two though?Johnny_P wrote:

Am I the only one who doesn't mind the Si sedan? I was just totally the Si got only the 1.5. GTI and GoRf basically have the same motor with a different turbo, but the Si and Type R motors are completely different beasts.
If you want a MK7 GTI for not much money I know where you can find one for not much money.

Nope the sedan looks better than the hatch, and is more practical with the seats up.coogles wrote: ↑Wed Feb 12, 2020 3:01 pm Am I the only one who doesn't mind the Si sedan? The sedan just looks so out of proportion. It's too long.
