Sooo we just bought a house as well... Pretty stoked on it, we are getting a garage at long last, more space, two stories, no more shitty stroad we have to walk on with meth heads and trash anymore but still in the great general area we're already in and love. But the thought is throwing $32K in the bank will ease my stress levels and it was going to go anyway for the STI or whatever I get once these close out.

I think I'll be taking mine too. The 'vana offer is up to $29,200 and the sale of our house is going nowhere. Indy was a few weeks behind the national trend but the housing market here has come to a complete halt. Good bet we're going to own two houses for a period of time and get way less for ours than we thought. Freeing up $500/mo and putting $20k in the bank sounds like a pretty good idea right about now.

we started looking around at some places and it escalated quickly. wanted more space, I wanted a better location and garage (both from day one but couldn't afford when we got our place). We thought this offered a great compromise between the urban location I wanted and suburban feel she did and checked a lot of boxes... very rare to find a house in the area we like with a garage under like a millie. So we decided YOLO.

I ended up extending the Carvana offer by a week, so I can enjoy a few more drives in the 86.
