That's why the TSX is there... the do nothing scenario. If I really HATED myself I would just drive that shit to work. Despite gas costs its still the cheapest option.
And I don't trust USED ev's as far as I can throw em. I would still never own an EV outside of a Tesla...
I wouldn’t cuck myself into TSX hell.
:iono: an Equinox EV doesn't feel any more/less depressing to me. Adaptive cruise is probably worth the extra hunnit I guess, assuming some traffic on this hell commute.

Get the gray one that's cheaper. You want to blend in as much as possible. More comfort features > AWD in sunny California.
It's very cheap but I hate when people say the 'it's a cell phone bill' thing.. my cell phone is 30 US dollars/month... $280 isn't exactly nothing. Still, it's a great :dill: for a commute appliance, especially with the free charging.
My cell phone bill is 299. But technically some people
Venmo me 80 a month … so it’s less and the phone is close to being paid off so it should effectively drop off

Yea commuting is shit all around … but I loathe the tsx … I’d outcuck everyone here by doing this.

For how many people? Mine is technically $0 - paid for by work. :tits: is $30/month for unlimited on Mint Mobe. I don't really get why anyone is paying for premium cell service. I recently switched from Mint to ATT since work is paying and wanted me to have ATT - the coverage is actually worse.

Total is 6 but, 2 Venmo me 80… it’s at least 35 a line after tax.

I heard about mint may do that once the phone is paid off in 2 months

I've been on Google Fi for a couple years now. $60/mo including international data.

Which I haven't needed yet.

Carvana offer on the 86 updated last night… $32.2k - pretty dope - I might do it. I’ve used it once this month, ran some errands Monday.

We won’t be a one car family for long but I may just sell it and reassess on the replacement a couple months down the line. I still think I’d get way more use out of something four door fun the whole family can ride in and will need that in a couple of months regardless for the Graco.

At that rate it will have been around 25% less expensive to own than a Cuckquinox lease! $206/month.

For shots and giggles I submitted a carmax buy quote on the accord. $26,600 so right around $330 a month. Which I think is acceptable. Should flatten out a bit now that it’s 2 yo and over the heaviest depreciation.

I generally also include the cost of capital as well. But this is still great. If you don’t use it dump it … you’re sort of going through the exact same thing as I did with the taco …

Very similar... like I'd be sad to see it go, I love it... but it's also just kind of pointless.

:iono: I think the cost of capital thing is sort of irrelevant as you have to own a car... maybe subtract $20K from the total amount and base it on that to account for owning some kind of transpo.

Maybe we can be GTI buddies :lolol:

I kind of want something used so it's a bit more NFG/ :aintcare: and I can just run it through the tunnel wash and such. Civic Sis are more used than new so that is out. Still pretty into the STI though and may spend more to go for that. I could just chill with only the :jeep: for a while too which would be :thisisfine: at least until :tits: goes back to work in August.

Same same but different but same… did the single car thing since Jan… having a minivan gets boring after a while.

I never even considered the si, I think that 1.5 is not an acceptable engine it’s essentially a Cuckinox … you gotta have at least a little bit of a punch when you get on it otherwise what’s even sporty about it ?!

:notbad:

I refreshed mine a couple days ago and it was $28,400. :notbad: Your car was more expensive but at least you'll be able to recover that on the back end.

Mine is on the chopping block as well. We close on the new place July 24th, and we won't need two big cars at that point, so the 2019 Atlas and the 86 are both going to get the boot unless I decide to park the Atlas on the street and keep the 86 in the garage. Very much doubt that will be the decision.

I am all over the place on what to replace them with. It has to be able to carry all three kids in a pinch. School is less than a mile from the new house, so most days they'll walk but I'm sure weather will dictate we drive every now and then. They're all big enough for backless boosters now, but not big enough to be in the front seat. Any car with a normal back seat will work, but that unfortunately rules out the CTR or ITS because of the stupid cupholders in the middle and lack of center seatbelt. It will ultimately come down to whether my car can be manual or needs to have an auto. If I can do a manual, I'm sort of hoping this is still around once we close -

If not, this would be perfect -

Then there's part of me that wants a totally different experience - thinking a soft top Bronco or Wrangler. No idea!

How bad is street parking at the new home? I’d just street park the Atlas and NFG it man.

If Coogles, Griff, and Max all buy GTIs I might have to join them. I’d be down with a Pomelo yellow DSG Autobahn.
