Holy shit that's fucked up. Sorry Griffballz. Why dafaq do they have to wait for a CASHIERS check to clear?
In all honesty, I'm not the least bit surprised by this move. Checks mean nothing now days. Especially being an out of state transaction. The has everything to lose if they ship the car off and the check isn't fully cleared.
Chalupabatman has been burned by 3 different people. Another friend in powersports has TWO units fraudulent taken buy 1 guy. He paid with check. Store calls bank, verifies fund. Guy left with units. Then cancelled the checks and transferred the money out. Only recourse is filing suit in court. It wasnt worth them getting the lawyer going to chase $8k.

This is the that doesn't end
Yes, it goes on and on my friend
Some started slingin' it not knowing what it was
And now they are still slingin' it just because
It’s the that never ends

I don't get to DFD anymore
The life updates are extensive, new job kinda blows, miss the old life. In better news, the gf is listing her townhouse, we were prepping it this weekend. She's going to make a cool 50% profit and we're moving out of the suburbs into the city.
I spoke to the Kamry driver and he'll be here tomorrow afternoon.

I don't understand anything anymore.
The kinda dropped the ball again and I'm not sure if they paid the taxes on the car or not, so not sure on the status of registering it. They reached out last week saying they have to now pay taxes/reg on it so they can send the bank the title (makes sense). They sent me a bill for it with no fees, so I said, cool, sounds good.
Well, I asked how to pay them, they said they'd send a link to an online form that I could pay with my credit card (this is how I paid the down payment). They never provided the link. I've called and emailed with no real results. So if they've already paid it (I'll call the bank tomorrow and see) I'm just going to never talk to them again and keep the $800.

We're just gonna rent for a year or two then reevaluate. Probably add in the whole marriage thing in the middle of that too.
The job could be worse, pay is pretty good, company is pretty good, nice people. I just don't think being on the phone all day in an office is really a way to live for me. I've been kinda feeling sorry for myself about it, missing the old lifestyle, but I need to just get over it. I'm sure it'll get better as I from accustomed to it.

It's the least they can do for all the hassle they put you through.

Making cold calls all day does suck the
Hopefully you'll get used to it and the pay becomes worth it.

Hence why I'm not entirely sold on the financial advising gig.
I enjoy having the freedom to walk outside whenever I want. Sitting in a cube farm would probably be sudden death for me.
Financial advising is all fun and games when the market is going up, but right about now you’d probably blow your brains out because just about everything is declining and you just about gone and fucked up people’s life savings and they are calling ....

Yeah, glad I didn't take that job/go further with any interviews right now.
I'm still on the wanting to blow my brains out bit, though. It's fucking slow. The gears are turning.
We’re all hit by it, I’m dealing with tariffs, calcling the impacts of that, a stock price that went down 30% even though we have record earnings etc from 2 months ago and all tons of other shit
