The time to go is 6:30 pm on an 8 pm weekday close.max225 wrote: ↑Tue Nov 05, 2024 11:35 amCalifornia dreaming. They are opening 2 MORE costcos within 30 min of me... And we already have 3 ... 2 of which are permanent crowded.Desertbreh wrote: ↑Tue Nov 05, 2024 11:28 am
I think I have a unicorn Costco in Palm Desert. Unless you drop in on weekends at 1 pm, the crowds are pretty manageable. I stopped at one in San Diego, holy fook. Like almost every spot in the parking lot was full and the inside was like downtown Calcutta. I left with PTSD.

It is heinous here. My job is flexible, I've gone in the middle of the workday and it's still bad. The only time it's semi-OK is like 45 minutes before they open when they secretly just open.Desertbreh wrote: ↑Tue Nov 05, 2024 11:28 amI think I have a unicorn Costco in Palm Desert. I've never tried the pizza or chicken bake. Costco is so fucking crowded, by the time I'm done shopping, I'm ready to![]()
Maybe the strategy is get a hotdog before for some energy, and refill that soda cup with Pepsi Max to power through the shopping experience.

I’m a mustard man myself, but onions and jalapeños are also welcome when available.D Griff wrote: ↑Tue Nov 05, 2024 10:36 amI'm not really a big nacho cheese fan. I'm pretty open on HD toppings but not that. Maybe not all of these at once, but I'd deem at least all the below acceptable. Semi ranked by how important/good they are but I'm flexible.
MUSTARD (yellow or brown)
Onions
Chili
Sauerkraut
Coleslaw
Ketchup
Relish
Pickles/peppers
Cheese
I don't really fuck with mayo or lettuce on a hotdog. In Iceland, they put crushed up Doritos on them which was pretty dece.
Relish, chili, and cheese are tier two hotdog condiments. I haven’t had sauerkraut on a dawg, but I love sauerkraut and would try it.
Ketchup is a trash condiment for trash people and belongs on nothing.

It has a place. Fries and rings, ocasional burger.
But if you put it on a hot dog you should have your voter registration pulled because you are a child

So I've had four interviews with Netgear now:
-Recruiter initial call
-Hiring manager
-Other key Director guy for their AV division
-Just met with their global head of sales
The first three calls seemed like an offer was imminent, very much AV industry guys who liked me, got my experience, think I have everything they need (pretty unique experience that aligns super specifically). This last guy asked much more boiler plate type sales interview questions. I am not sure I was salesy enough for him, but I guess we shall see soon.
I think I'll probably
if I get the offer, it's like 30% more money at least, a growing division of the company, the boss bro seems cool, very well regarded in the industry.

I prefer mustard or ranch to ketchup on fries or o rings. But I will Ketchup vs. raw dogging it.golftdibrad1 wrote: ↑Tue Nov 05, 2024 2:25 pmIt has a place. Fries and rings, ocasional burger.

Agreed on mustard and ranch over ketchup on fries and rings. But I do usually raw dog them and tots instead of dipping in anything.Desertbreh wrote: ↑Tue Nov 05, 2024 3:12 pmI prefer mustard or ranch to ketchup on fries or o rings. Related, opinion on Boston Acoustics stuff? Some CR8 bookshelf speakers popped up for $75 and it seems like a solid deal for them. Same guy has CR9s for $200..
