Got an interview with Netgear next week for territory sales manager for their Pro AV business in the Southeast. Seems pretty interesting, their product is the defacto standard for all AV integrators out there. It's been near impossible to get interviews recently, I got lucky and had some beers with the hiring manager at an industry thing last year and he remembered me by chance.

I couldn't even get a phone screen at Logi when Max was kind enough to give me a referral and my resume checked every box for the req. Most AV manufacturers are just laying everyone off at the moment.

Sure, let's have armed militias and rebel groups with military equipment equivalent to our actual military. Let's let them run for political office and have self-governed territories. Sounds a lot like Hezbollah or the Houthis. Seems to be working well for them, let's try it here too. Fuck it!
Haha! This reminds me of the episode of the office when Dwight is eating expired food from his bomb shelter.

Brad - make sure you pick me up in your killdozer once things go south!

I am not. Sure, some are, and regular infantry...aint too bright. But you seriously think a college educated air force captain would follow orders that involved firing on americans? If you do, you dont think.
Truth is, I don't know, but I think 90+% of the folks who are the ones actually holding weapons just follow orders. Check out the podcast.
Like the Nazi soldiers eh? I recently compared my insurance adjuster to a Nazi cause he said he was just following orders. He didn’t like that.

Americans kill Americans more so than any other populous on the planet. Doesn’t matter whether it’s just regular crime or military.

We also sponsor/create genocide all over the planet

I mean, that is just fundamentally what military culture is... not saying it's great. There is a reason why they recruit 18 year olds with zero other options.

Yeah, the base range is like 100-110K which seems pretty normal. Per Glassdoor though, their commish/bonus seems to be a lot more lucrative than my current place, so we'll see. I mean... if it's a lateral move, meh, probably wouldn't bother. Hopefully in January the writing should be on the wall on whether I survive this 'merger'. I'd be kind of appalled if I didn't, but :iono: Trying to play the game well and I've been among the best people on the sales team here for a long time.

Similar to Max, I had never heard of Asheville until people in here started talking about it, and then the hurricane wrecking it. Didn’t even know that’s where my cousin lived
I guess it's more of an East Coast/flyover thing. I am probably over exposed as I spend 25+% of my time in the Northeast... all the Philly/NY/Boston/OH/etc. people ask about Assville and proclaim that they've been dying to go when I say I'm from NC. Funny enough, half of them have no clue where Charlotte is and many have never heard of it, despite being the largest metro area in the Carolinas by an enormous margin with 7X the population of Asheville.
Just yesterday, :tits: and I were in Old Town Alexandria last night. And at the time I glanced at dfd discussing about Asheville. Old town alexandria is even bigger than asheville as well

Probably you but rudy definitely knows as its fairly close to where he lived.

Well, I've got my first interview with Netgear this afternoon. Anyone have any amazing questions a candidate has asked them recently?

Yeah, I mean, we've told just about all IRL friends and stuff at this point, so NBD that it's on FB. I'm not a big social media guy, so I really give few shits if it's on there or not.
