? Way better than the All Road IMO. If you really wanted to jump down to one car, this kinda hits the nail on the head with the utilitarian + uniqueness + some fun + some quickness.
I feel like you're far too bent on this rotor thing... I don't remember ever needing to replace rotors on any car I've owned other than the , which was only due to track use. Also, there's no NAPA/Rock Auto option?
They're 2-piece rotors, specifically made for the Polestar. No cheaper aftermarket options exist - OE rotors are $530 each from FCP Euro. And due to the pad compound, they do wear.
I still bet you wouldn't own long enough to need a set.[user not found] wrote: ↑Fri Aug 30, 2019 12:17 pmGo ahead, google it.D Griff wrote: ↑Fri Aug 30, 2019 11:47 am

Well now that your daily commute will be a dragon run during lunch and nothing more, may as well get an ND2.

Hnng.
Y u no goRf?
Less cool obviously but still a great DD.
I’m sure it’s also been mentioned in this thread already but eh.
Plus, I like the quirk of the Chubman.
Ultimately I won't do anything. All pipedreamz at this point. Jeep is sticking around for a while.
Go buy that teardrop and do some wheeling. Jeep won't go anywhere for a while.[user not found] wrote: ↑Tue Sep 03, 2019 9:16 amLightly used is still $36k. Sad!Swedish Chef wrote: ↑Mon Sep 02, 2019 11:44 pm

He's super interested in the new JCW clubbie instead of an outback, just not $40k+ interested.
GoRf performance with mini cool factor[user not found] wrote: ↑Tue Sep 03, 2019 9:47 amI think the new JCW Chubman is the move.
Outbacks are for Pats and Terrys.
I think we can manage this.[user not found] wrote: ↑Tue Sep 03, 2019 9:14 amThe comes with a no barn clause in the contract.4zilch wrote: ↑Tue Sep 03, 2019 8:12 am
Truthfully, I'm not sure what he car situation will end up looking like us. Might try the 1-car lyfe for a little while. A fun car that she can drive on occasion, and maybe an upgraded SUV thing that can tow. If she could/would learn the ways of it would certainly open up lots of options.
...
No clue. Still hasn't been built yet, so I think I'm getting screwed. I'm thinking I'll be lucky to have it before Halloween at this point. Program says to expect the vehicle in 8-12 weeks, which 8 weeks is Sept 30 and 12 is October 31.
Well you can take the Jeep camping ...
nothing with an Outback but def a snooze fest for a car guy.[user not found] wrote: ↑Tue Sep 03, 2019 9:47 amI think the new JCW Chubman is the move.

Oh, totally. That was a huge motivator in picking it up. We won't miss any camping trips now.
Does it feature the heated steering wheel?Detroit wrote: ↑Tue Sep 03, 2019 10:30 amOh, totally. That was a huge motivator in picking it up. We won't miss any camping trips now.
But I'm not taking it wheeling...at least not without She won't even let me drive it on the street because it's "her baby".
whatever. At least she loves it more than any other vehicle she's had since we've been together.
