AT&T has new planz, that competition killing them.
basically, its 5 dollars less per line, the plan is less, keep same amount of data and rollover BUT, will never get an overage charge again, just drop to 2g speed for rest of period.

T-Mobile is the best, honestly. Decent coverage, cheap as hell, good customer service.

Flew home, back in Charlotte now, so I was gone for exactly one week down to the hour. It was fun, but I'm excited that I'm now on vacation, leaving for Costa Rica tomorrow with Allison.troyguitar wrote:You're turning around and going back already? Got another $50 tip today from a customer and a bottle of 1800.
So far my holiday haul has been almost $250 in tips and three bottles of hooch.

How is life as a service adviser (I think that's what you do?) in general?fledonfoot wrote:Got another $50 tip today from a customer and a bottle of 1800.

Apart from the random asshole customer like I had the other day, it's generally not bad.Calvinball wrote:How is life as a service adviser (I think that's what you do?) in general?fledonfoot wrote:Got another $50 tip today from a customer and a bottle of 1800.

It's not for everyone. The hours are fairly long (I work 730a-530p 5 days a week and don't often get a lunch break). It's still a sales job.
The money is solid considering I'm a community college dropout.

Define "solid,", if you don't mind sharing.fledonfoot wrote:Apart from the random asshole customer like I had the other day, it's generally not bad.Calvinball wrote:

I've occasionally considered it as an alternative career that I could probably apply for and actually land a jerb.

I had a decent year and hit 11 of 12 monthly top tier CSI performance bonuses. I'll be right around $75k this year. A large shop with a decent customer base should have you making $60-80+.Calvinball wrote:Define "solid,", if you don't mind sharing.fledonfoot wrote:

I get no salary and take a $600/wk draw against my commission. I'm paid either 7, 9 or 10.5% off my gross profit after discounts and fuckups, depending on where my 3 month CSI average ends up.
Pay plans vary from dealer to dealer. Some pay off the shop total, some off individual writer's work/hours sold. Some (like mine) can base the pay off CSI surveys so a bad survey (bad is considered anything under 90.5% average) can affect me to the tune of $1200-1800 a month.
