Yup, aircraft carriers essentially rendered them obsolete.

And now, with drone tech advancing so quickly I wonder if carriers are next to become obsolete. :iono:

I kind of miss working on Navy ships. The big ESB vessels we were building at NASSCO were way cool.

your garage is catastrophically small.
This is a totally normal two car though... Very hard to find anything larger than that.
indeed :(

The house we're under contract on has a two car that is like 19x19... really more of a one car plus tools and bikes for me, but (assuming the house actually comes to fruition) I would try to get both cars in, it would probably look like Max's here even though we have smaller cars.

I thought my garage was decently sized actually. I have seen way smaller 2 car garages. This isn't like a 2.5 car... but I also have a smallish storage room that is 5x5 to the side which was an excellent bonus.

This garage fits two 80" wide 190+" long suvs side by side with room to open doors. It seems kinda normal?

It is 20' by 20' I believe.

Yep, that is pretty normal, at least around here.

The 20 X 20 garage is such a cheap afterthought. GARAGE SPACE MATTERS.

It just needs help that is not complicated OR expensive, AND more in line with its price tag and your garage flooring. https://www.gladiatorgarageworks.com/pr ... mWkQEYe_FD. Get that bike off the ground. Lose the random cabinetry in the back. Maximize the space you have.

Its fine for parking 80's cars, tight for modern stuff.

It is what it is my dude, i get it. Decisions have to be made and big garages are both rare and non-critical requirements.

I'd argue the battle of the Jutland was peak battleship. By the 1930's they were on their way out we just didn't know it yet.

Yup… the planes did em in. It was wild to see the first aircraft carriers that were essentially battleships with an airfield bolted on.
