Hardest of passes, :dillerman: gonna :dilerman:

If I was gonna R8 and drive it alot like you say you want I'd get one that...lets say has some smile lines with a few more farts for 2/3 the price.
It's a gated 6spd
yea, like i said wrong trans. Hate away, but when VW group DCT is an option you get it, esp over a fucking GATED manual. Looks cool, shit to drive. Fight me.

Nah Jeremy isn't racing his car and the shifts in the R8 feel great. The gear spacing is also pretty spot on. With a Cayman though I'm PDK all day because fuck 80mph in second driving around CLT.

It's pretty badass though too be thinking about buying a car and the 4.0L Porsche might actually be the "boring" option, even though that's also what makes it the best car.

DCT over a gated manual? Interesting take.

So we're talking Emira, 4.0 GTS, and a left field suggestion of that R8.

I had no idea, but I started digging into R8s. A convertible with a 6-speed manual is way more rare than I realized. I like the look of the coupe more, but if it's a fun car in Charlotte, a convertible is a better pick.

Honestly, I would be looking at a slightly used C8 Z06 convertible. More exotic and special engine than anything else listed. Better ride. More practical. Just a more special car in every way.

I think I'm taking my brother-in-law to go pickup his new truck tonight. He has a Ford Ranger Raptor coming in. He's been driving a Ford Fusion he got new in college this entire time. He has a house now, and wanted a truck. He was really considering a Lightning, but ultimately he couldn't fit it comfortably in his garage.

A Lariat Ranger is only a couple grand less than a Raptor, so he just went for it. It's much cooler and resale is a lot better. Quite a bit of truck for the money sadly. It's like exactly what I paid for my Lightning ($58k + tax & title). Still seems like an insane amount, but compared to the TuRD Pro or Braille Hunter, it's a bargain. Those are all pushing 10% more.

Shelter Green Metallic. No lame decal package. No bed lock wheels. Spray in bed liner. Probably the same way I would spec it.

That’s exactly my “spec” but sadly they are all marked up here. The factory tune is well worth it for $600 also.

You can’t really compare msrps though. You can get 5-8k off the lariat vs having a higher msrp and 0 discount on the Raptor. So the gap is substantial

Blue wave is a new turd bro color and I absolutely love it… however … the $67-70k msrp is just insane on a midsize truck .. one without a proper engine

Hard pass on the latest taco trucks. I’d much rather have a ranger or Colorado at a $10k savings.

Yea that hybrid bullshit they are claiming is just no bueno. The raptor is a full second faster to 60 than a turd bro taco and they have supposedly similar hp/tq
Much fakery on Toyotas part imo. Not to mention a giant price premium on a Mexican made thing :disgust:

They (don't) know what they have.
Trans is listed as Automatic on the top of the page. :lolol:

My only experience with a gated manual was a Ferrari 308 QV and it was awful

I mean I’d be happy with the work truck spec Colorado so my opinion is pretty irrelevant I guess. But I see no reason to spend that much on a pickup truck that will see more trips to a grocery store than it will to a hardware supply store.

The reason is to have some :balls: while you’re driving it around, while riding on one the best suspension systems of mankind. :whocares: what the truck gets used for if you enjoy driving it.

Yeah. I mean now with every Colorado getting the bigger dick 300 whatever HP motor it’s no longer a 2.5 natty shitbox.

They dropped the 2.5L in 2018 or 2019 IIRC.

Good. It had no business being in a vehicle that large.
I guess I just look at trucks as tools.
