I'd trust Costco's sourcing group with my life

That's the deal I got. 10 qts for $30 for 0w20 that the miata takes. It's about 4.5 qts per change, so $15 + $12 for an OEM filter. Full synthetic oil changes for under $30/each seems like a solid deal.

- Needs an alignment still. Probably a few degrees out on toe. Will get that done this week.
- I'm only like 1300 miles in? That was my break in oil change. Drove it pretty hard.
- The engine is so much better than the BRZ engine. It makes less power, but much smoother, sounds better, feels better. All the inputs feel a lot better.
- The wheels are nearly 4 lbs lighter per corner, while being wider. Can feel the difference quite a bit.
- The car is begging for some coilovers and big brake kit now.![]()
- Got the quick jacks wall mounted too. Not bad from a storage standpoint. They're just heavy to get into place.
$250 later, the Lightning dent got pulled out by the PDR guy. What I thought was a big chip in the windshield ended up being some sort of epoxy or something stuck to it in a thin layer? PDR guy got it off with some sort of solvent.
Still need to get the charging door matched to the passenger fender, and the passenger door locks fixed. Slowly getting everything back to normal.

Same viscosity required by the CX-5.

Got pretty damn close on toe in with the front. I knew I was pretty even side to side, but more toe-in than I wanted. Almost spot on in terms of steering wheel. I think I hit it on the exact same tooth engagement as it was previously.
The most surprising part of this is how bad the factory alignment is. Next to no camber front or rear. Car drives better than ever now. Can finally put the steering rack disaster to bed.
