These gents have a neat design, been proving it out for years, say they are putting nuclear fuel salt in at low power in 2026!

SMR is a term that gets thrown out a lot and can mean a lot of different things because there are a lot of different designs. Yes, some designs do not allow for in-situ refueling. Some do.dubshow wrote: ↑Mon Feb 24, 2025 10:42 amTIL the SMR hope is only good for 8 years. Oh no! too much grid instability from the renewables took down the grid. they are saying it might be a week to get power back in some places.

"The communication devices were reportedly found in power inverters, which are used to connect solar panels and wind turbines to the power grid and are often produced in China. They are also found in electric vehicle chargers, batteries and heat pumps. Undocumented cellular radios were also found in Chinese-manufactured batteries, according to the publication."

I'll tell you what they are opposed to, humanity flourishing. The combined annual revenue of the hundreds of nonprofits known to be opposed to nuclear power exceeds $2.5 billion. This formidable opposition has 4,100 percent more annual revenue than the Nuclear Energy Institute, the industry-sponsored nonprofit that promotes nuclear power development.
