Yea, but if i go past my current trt dose i'll need to take at least 2 other drugs to counter effects & be more diligent about donating blood. I dont really want to do that.
Fair.
I'm also been thinking time to refocus and loose some weight. My lifts have been stuck for about a year or more because every time get new 1rms i seem to collect an injury that sets me back 6 months. So I'm going to try and get back under 300# and see where I am at, then maybe shoot for 280# and just maintain strength. I'm getting some pharma assistance through the dr to that end. Trying this for a few months and see where it goes. If I don't make progress, well, some glp-1's come off patent next year

I can get retratutide and there are some online “research labs” that you can buy glp-1s from as well. A few friends have used amino asylum from that and reported good results. I use that company for things like the healing peptides. They third party test all their product and provide batch and test reports. Worth looking at to save some money vs buying through a doctor/prescription.

feeling in my thumb is even coming back.

split duties with a 335i, but yea. Dense muscles and bones and lots off loose skin from being really fat many moons ago. I could prob realistically get down to 250-260 but would have even more loose skin and need surgery to remove, so fuck it.

Did you use a big ass pad on the bar? Heavy weight on that C7 is not good for your nerve problem.

Negative. Its c6 tho, and I low bar squat; bar sits more on my shoulder blades / base of traps.

Big boi. I'm a whole 180 over here.
I've been doing some heavier(for me) lifting lately, it's seemingly going fairly well. I definitely still have some low back issues with heavier lifts, so I've basically figured out that I can do one heavy squat or one heavy deadlift day per week. If I squat heavy on Monday, I make my hinge pattern on Thursday a single leg hinge, either on the 45* back extension or using dumbbells. I still work the movement and get some work in but I don't compress the spine. If I want to deadlift heavy on Thursday, I'll either do the belt squat on Monday, or I'll do some cheeks to sneaks slant board goblet squats.
Monday's squat day was 225 x 5 for 3 sets, and I did 315 x 5 for 3 sets on deadlift on Thursday of last week. I was using a Texas deadlift bar, so sort of cheating, but .

Well you might want to start. 25 years of metal to cervical spine contact got me out of the conventional squat game altogether. I never used a pad because I liked the control aspect of not having one but if I could have gone back to 19 year old me I would have told him to use one. I had a warning episode where my left arm became weak in the tricep, got better, ignored it and then put myself on the couch in the fetal position in pain for about a week. That numb finger is your warning.

numb thumb is not from squatting, and might not even be from working out period. I strained the C6 in my neck somehow being too tense at the dentist during tooth extraction.
And yes, its accompanied lots of general shoulder discomfort, tri weakness, etc. I took the steroids and its been inching towards better.

You have a narrowed cervical vertebrae. I'm just letting you know about one of the things that can exacerbate problems stemming from that, if not the direct causation to your episode in this instance. It does stand to reason that putting 400 lbs. on a bar with your neck/shoulders as a balance axis might create some issues. Just be careful bro.

Dude at my gym is prepping for his skin removal surgery. Pretty wild to see how much of it there is. I never knew him when he was bigger so I’d have no idea seeing him in his clothes.

Yea. I lost weight slower so its not as extreme as you see online, but there. I wouldn't need to do extremities at least.
IDK. maybe i'll try indian glp-1s and then just

Retartrutide (sp?) seems to be pretty cool. On top of the weight loss, it’s really cleaning up people’s lipid profiles, and from what I’ve seen, there is a higher percentage of fat loss vs muscle loss. Ozempic and the other older GLP-1s tend to show a 50/50 split, although I imagine that’s largely due to people taking the drugs and relying solely on them and the decreased appetite for their weightloss and they aren’t doing things like changing their diet in terms of increasing protein or lifting weights to aide in the weightloss.
Next time I prep for a show and I’m dieting hard I’ll probably run a low dose of Reta to help curb the hunger and to keep my bloodwork looking a little better while using some of those harsher prep drugs.
