DOE does support programs of special education, hopefully they can make up this deficit elsewhere.

Trump order to dismantle the education department in the works, sources say

DOE was organized from other disorganized shit in 1980. The only trend that hasnt changed since then is how much money is spent per student, and male graduation rate is down.

They have failed in thier mission to improve things. :nuke: it and start over, or dont. :aintcare:

The evidence is overwhelming

So glad my kid starts K next school year. He gets 4 years of Agent Orange cutting services and assistance. At least we are in a well funded school system now and not the city.

It did fail me to an extent, and a lot of you all apparently.

No, we live in an excellent school district, one of the reasons we moved.

#metoo because of said absolute shit new orleans area Louisiana public system. It has improved in recent years due to voucher system.

We all have different skills. Writing, grammar, and spelling are not gifts of mine.

Dan has a former roommate that is a teacher in New Orleans! I spoke to him recently and he was pretty much shitting on the schools there. They had to call in a Charlotte Meck grad to teach those kids some stuff!

I did Catholic school for 8 years of K-12. Father John Sherlock explaining purgatory:

"Each time you sin it is like pounding a nail into a board. When you are redeemed the nails are removed.............but the HOLES IN THE BOARD REMAIN TO BE FILLED.

So that's what purgatory is bros. Wood filler for the board.

It seemed like reasonably tight rationale to a 3rd grader.

Depends. The schools are generally a last hold out for being good because the prop values held most of crap out.

That said … the California public education is literally subjecting young AF children to some really adult brain rot shit, that I would prefer they do not.
