Mid thigh I'm at about 24 1/4", upper thigh where the adductors stick out I'm at 25 1/2". :fatty:

I did a 400# squat for a single again today. Moved really well, weights felt light today probably could have got a double. But I'm chicken after all the back tweeks.

No chicken legs here, need to properly measure for the :lolol: but im in the 26-28" range on thighs.

I lifted once last week and rode/ran a fair amount but feeling like a fat fuck after the holiday weekend. I'm looking forward to some healthy eating this week and packing in as much working out as I can prior to :baby: time this weekend.

I did a 60 minute Peloton ride yesterday - set a 60 min PR - but my upper body lift today was pure :poop: . Not unexpected I guess, but man the bar felt heavy in my hands today. Woof.

I’m switching back to evening lifts this week. De bebe has a pretty routine bedtime of 6:30ish. So I’ll run bath time with them at 6, then bounce to the gym when Michelle takes her up to nurse her to sleep. Fucking stoked for that. I’ll stay at my local commercial gym through the end of the year doing this bro split, then if things are feeling good I’ll get back to my gym at the new year and go back to DC training.

I dropped the drugs, minus a true TRT dose of 120mg of test, so clean up some bloodwork in the interim. Once I’m back at the real gym and really training I’ll do a bigger blast than I have since we first started trying to get pregnant ~3 years ago. Nothing crazy. 400test/week, 400mast/week, and I might throw in some anavar to kick things off.. 25mg 2x a day and work up to 50mg 2x a day. Should be fun. Plan is to do a 20 week blast, then cruise for 6 weeks and let my body recover, then another 20 week blast and 6 week cruise.

I’m kinda jealous of people with set schedules sometimes. I feel like I’m all over the place.

You’ve inspired me to go to two-a-day lift sessions mon-fri!

Two a days are great! I like hitting antagonistic body parts when I do that. Something like chest in the morning with back in the evening. Alternatively, you can do big compound lifts in the morning, or more detailed isolation lifts in the evenings.

What I’ll be doing is a hard cardio session to kick the day off right when I wake up while :tits: and :baby: still sleep, then get my lifts in at night.

If you’re doing both in the same session, I agree with doing cardio after. You’ll have more energy to hit your lifts with and you can use a good amount, if not all of, the glycogen in your bloodstream lifting so that your cardio forces your body to start breaking down stored fat for energy.

But if you’re able to separate the two sessions by a few hours or more, then the order doesn’t matter. I prefer to hit hard cardio fasted in the morning and get my heart rate up early in the day. I hate lifting fasted and it’s tough waking up early enough to get a good meal in when you’re hitting the iron at 5:30am. I’d much rather have most of my meals already down the hatch and go lift in the late afternoon or evening.

+1 unless it's a tough cardio session. Like if I was doing a threshold/VO2 Max session then I would split up the days, if it's just a zone 2 incline walk with a weighted vest then meh, 2-a-day away.

I run or ride to the gym to lift most times and there's a noticeable difference in strength/gym performance. If I hit the weights immediately following running a few miles, it's not quite up to snuff. I'd do it a little differently if I were still trying to power lift or whatever.

last week was a light week.

this week was mixed, so much xmas activates sleep suffered. its a lighter week anyway with attempted volume, even tho im not filling out a 531 spread sheet program im kinda doing it in my head.

bench 245 for 3 with volume after at 215 (monday, tired af)
squat wednesday (too tired to work out tuesday am) was 365 2 sets of 3 with a 315x5 drop set
press / pulldown thursday press 145 2 sets of 1 with 125 x5 drop set / 250 for a set of 4 then a set of three, with three actual pullups after. doing a pullup at all as a 320lb guy is impressive, so get off dis :dong:
Deads today (friday) 455 for a tripple then a double.

I'll prob repeat something similar the next couple weeks then go for some big numbers again the week in between xmas and new years. Get that 4 wheel squat back! Next year I'll work on bench more, i WANT the 300# before its to late just to say i did it. And that I did 500/400/300 on the big three.

I benched 275 at my most :sad: Probably not happening again.

Max DL was 395 which happened a few times. My squat was always embarrassing, also 275 max.

I plan to join the Y in a few months so I can take the leech (thanks Max) for free child care and get work outs in, who knows, maybe I’ll get more into lifting again.

Trying to do some little stuff at home right now, did around 300 pushups yesterday throughout the day.

This morning hit a quick 40 minute dumbbell session in the living room while :tits: and :baby: slept.

Been walking the :doge: as well and moving throughout the house a lot doing dad shit.

@Brad, you should try to add the 200 lb press to that too just to be full beast mode. I think you can do it.

You also have real weights. I’m just throwing around 25 pound dumbbells for a ton of reps. Better than nothing but not exactly huffing and puffing for mega strength.
