They took the babies, so I had like two hours free. Felt good. Then yesterday her and her sister, who was up visiting for a few days, did a long walk together with the baby, so I went back and got another good workout in.

Of course both nights Kaeilani didn’t want to sleep at all, so I didn’t sleep at all, but oh well. Felt good to get out of the house and move some blood around.
Good to see you’re getting out of the house already. Keep it up.
Thanks dude! We’ve made it a goal to get out at least once a day even if it’s just a drive around town. It makes a huge difference for sure getting fresh air and a change of scenery.

I’ll be solo with the CF during my four weeks of paternity leave. My mom wants me to bring her over to their house a lot during, so that should make it kinda fun and maybe she can watch her some for a quick bike ride or workout.

Work blows ass this week. Stuck in Jersey an extra night due to American Air being a POfuckingS.

Very busy all over metro NY and yet the boss douches just come at me hard with other tasks nonstop so after a long day of running all over and meeting in person with people, there’s just like 5+ hours of computer work. The shit it got fired which is good but they’re not backfilling so now that role is just mine also… even though I make less than in 2019 in a lower position. Of the other two inside/account managers I have, one is fairly useless, other is good but green. Maybe I should start playing the lotto.

Back at work. She’s doing her 12 weeks, then I’ll do my four. I’ll take PTO the first week and a half or so and it’ll be the holidays around then too so it’ll be pretty chill remote work for me during the first several weeks.

The nanny we’re getting (day care at :tits: job/school isn’t available until August 2025) will be like $3k/month so saving a month is a big diff.

Yes I know someone who works at Walmart in security and was out there last October for his birthday. The area is very nice.
Never been but I’ve heard it’s an incredible Mecca for mountain/gravel/road cycling. I’d like to check it out.
made 3 trips for the trails. It's worth. Over 40 mile loop of trail systems all well planned.

:notbad: I didn’t know you ride, that’s cool.

What are the trails like? Technical? Flowy? Mixture?

With so many, it's a large mix. Read up on them. I loved how there would be a paved drive for newbs then a dirt jump literally on the side to drop into a technical/flowy trail. 20ft from my wife on the paved segment.

It has something for everyone. I didn't get into slow rugged shit because I didn't go look. I stayed on the sanctioned trials.

They brought one of those to an assembly or two when I was in elementary school and I used to dream about getting picked to go in the next time it came.

They used to use one built here at the fab shop but they got rid of it. This rented one had a slight malfunction for my coworker hence all the money. They had to refill it after him and he was only the second person.
