I only drove an ND1 but they're softer than the GR86 out of the box.

Same. Spend the money on both combined and you can get it in a Boxster.

Indeed. I would not ruin the boxer sound with equal length headers.

It's the same transmission found in the Toyota GR Supra, but each has uniquely tuned linkages and bushings.
Why does it have to be uniquely tuned? The Supra wasn’t rubbery enough to be a BMW?

That thing looks amazing though, the green is so hot. Nice to see a manual hitting the scene in this point in time.

"The transmission will be part of a larger option package. While choosing a three-pedal setup is sometimes a no-cost option, it'll cost $3500 in the Z4. That's because BMW made the assumption that if you want a manual, you must also want a sportier Z4."

My dad is looking at the LC500 again. He happened to see one at Lexus of Portland out here. 2021 with only 324 miles on the clock. If it’s still here when he comes to see us next month he’s going to go check it out and possibly be driving it down to Utah when he leaves.

Fuck yeah. When my dad was talking about buying another Corvette I brought up the LC and F Type to him as well. He loves how the LC looks but it afraid of Lexus service costs and wants a manual again.

:nice: My dad had been, and kind of still is, between the LC and a Blackwing since he does enjoy driving a manual. But as he gets older having a manual as his daily is becoming less appealing, and he knows if he does get the LC and he’ll always have whatever I’m driving to scratch the itch of rowing gears when he visits or vice versa.

Is the '21 significantly cheaper than new? It's got basically new mileage but from what I understand the '23 cars have a much more user friendly infotainment. Might be worth looking into if the price delta isn't that big.

It’s $86k, but a bespoke car with nice options and finishing touches, vs starting price of 98k new. He didn’t mention the infotainment changes, so I think he’d need to just test drive both and see which one calls his name more.

Personally, I'm down with this strategy. If making manuals cost a bit more/packaged with sports options, bring it on. It seems the other option is not offering one.

Oh they’ve got the original window sticker loaded on that page. $111k, so a 22% discount from msrp at least.

Yea it needs to be more than that for a bespoke luxury car that is about to be out of warranty in a year.
