Not to mention, it could start to appreciate like some cool old bmw's do after 20 years.

Nephew of a a few first gen immigrant on DFD, resident turk, and ex nazi egg lover now driving a middle class mom mobile.
Sold for $43,210. With fees and whatnot that's about $45k.max225 wrote: ↑Fri Feb 09, 2024 2:13 pmMy prediction … 41.5k tops. With the CB fee that puts it at market rates. 9k miles is a little high for most current gen cars also.Gberg2119 wrote: ↑Fri Feb 09, 2024 10:03 am https://carsandbids.com/auctions/rjLX2L ... vic-type-r
We'll see if the crashing used market has any effect on this car. Spotted my first one the other day in this color.

after I sat in one in person... I was pretty disappointed at the quality of the vehicle. The Corolla felt like a 20k econohatch and the civic felt a bit more like 35-40k. Yet their prices were a lot closer a 6 months ago... around 45k for the rolla and 50k for the shitvic...
AWD be damned.

Hey friends. Back after a while and I think first time posting in the thread.
I heard GR rolla talk and I want one, but disappointed to hear the interior feels cheap.
On another note, I’m looking for a daily to pair with so I can finally start treating this thing as nice as it deserves. I think I’ve made up my mind already (German with 3 character alphanumeric model) but I’m going to test drive its competitors before making the choice. Trying to stay under $30-35k used.
for now but I hope to add to the 2024 count if the finances make sense after I move.

Wow I can’t believe these are still as much as they are … imo they have no business starting with a $4Gberg2119 wrote: ↑Thu Feb 29, 2024 9:50 amLocal has a $500 discount on one. I wonder how well they're selling.max225 wrote: ↑Thu Feb 15, 2024 12:37 pm

I would Acura but Hype R/Type S are a very unique proposition these days if you can get one at MSRP I would back that purchase all day.max225 wrote: ↑Fri Feb 09, 2024 2:20 pm So compared to an m3 imo the CTR is a far more usable aka throwaway car you can put some miles on without excessive maintenance/cost worries.
Imo I would feel much more comfortable taking it to 100k than an m car… better mpg, cheaper parts, better dealers. And probably close to the amount of fun… yea the i6 is far faster and rwd can slide sideways (where tho) but the civic is almost 1k lbs lighter… and is still quite a bit of fun

Sure they do. Brand new AWD 300hp big fendered fanboi machine that will have a depreciation curve like a tabletop? Yes it's a Corolla. It's a Corolla with the mother of all factory mods. And a warranty.max225 wrote: ↑Thu Feb 29, 2024 11:13 amWow I can’t believe these are still as much as they are … imo they have no business starting with a $4Gberg2119 wrote: ↑Thu Feb 29, 2024 9:50 am

No I’m saying it as another hint. It’s not an RS3, I can’t afford it and I’d like more spacious back seats to account for the Miata not having any. Actually, in a lot of ways, the second car is going to be good at everything the Miata isn’t. And its weaknesses are things the Miata is good at.

It's not like a Yugo. If I was struggling I'd rock a Corolla SE without thoughts of seppuku.max225 wrote: ↑Thu Feb 29, 2024 11:47 amCorolla is so fucking cheap though... at the end of the day you're sitting in an absolute shitboxDesertbreh wrote: ↑Thu Feb 29, 2024 11:22 am
