Hello, I have appeared magically.
Here are photos of my almost 1 year old not-a-truck F150.
I have also added in the OEM Rain Sensing wipers, OEM Adaptive Cruise Control and Lane Centering, coded in the OEM Anti-Glare/Matrix headlights, The plan for adding the ACC/LCA is because it is now able to be controlled with a sunnypilot repository on a Comma.ai 3X that I picked up. I was able to go pretty much 97% of the way from DE to OH and back to DE completely hands-free except when I needed to get off the highway and stop to charge, I haven't gained that much comfort with the device yet...lol.
It is a few weeks away from hitting the 20k mile mark.

Nice! Mine will hopefully get here before end of year (Lariat ER). I've got some questions:3rdgenfan wrote: ↑Tue Dec 12, 2023 6:19 pm Hello, I have appeared magically.

- How difficult is utilizing forscan? I've looked through it a bit, and it doesn't seem awful? I might need to run it on a mac using Wine though. Mostly just want it for the matrix headlights.
- I've heard good things about Comma.ai. I would need to experience it, but I don't feel nearly as comfortable with their level of validation vs an OEM solution. I'll give BlueCruise a go and see how it is.
- Did you install the 80 Amp Pro Charge Station?
- How difficult was pulling the frunk apart? I'll probably look to unplug the speaker that beeps when closing the frunk. I think you need to pull the entire lining out to get to it and it's not an option in Forscan to turn off?

-Getting around Forscan is pretty easy with the spreadsheets everyone has posted online. It can look daunting, but just make a save file of the stock items, and you'll be fine! I think the matrix lights took a few different lines of code to populate correctly and then you just reboot the modules, power cycle the truck and your auto-high beam light should go from grey to green.MrH42 wrote: ↑Thu Dec 14, 2023 10:50 amNice! -I've not got BlueCruise but after being in my friends Platinum Lightning with BC this is on par if not better than the OEM system, but your reasoning makes complete sense
-I've got a Standard Range so I didn't get the 80amp Pro station; I've had a 32A ChargePoint Home for a few years back when I had a Bolt.
-The frunk itself was pretty simple: pop off the trim surrounding the frunk, which is just quarter-turn fastener styled things, a few trim pieces by the headlights, unplug the outlets with one connection, and then there are 6 bolts I believe holding it in. Two on the wheel well areas and two inside the frunk itself. If you've got a wide wingspan, you should be able to get it out yourself with no problems other than being a bit careful about how you maneuver. I wish the speaker were a Forscan coding thing but unfortunately not, Once you get the frunk out you will be greeted by this tiny 1x1x1 cube which is the speaker. Unplug it and throw that thing as far away as possible.

GM would have sold more Bolts if they could have been combined into Voltron.
Boltron?

Indeed. I lucked out on finding one in decent shape that needed an engine.
Also, not sure if you noticed the vanity plate in the one picture.
