Agree which is why it's funny that the big range never had this available.max225 wrote: ↑Tue Jan 10, 2023 2:07 pmCaleDeRoo wrote: ↑Tue Jan 10, 2023 12:34 pm

They do this to bump up its class for a more favorable CAFE rating

It also used the Discovery platform which had 3 rows of seats as well.golftdibrad1 wrote: ↑Tue Jan 10, 2023 4:26 pmThey do this to bump up its class for a more favorable CAFE rating
Model YP new is cheaper than a used GLC. And the GLC will continue to have stratospheric depreciation + $5 premium fuel… makes no sense anymore. Unless it is 10-20k cheaper than a new MYP…. And they are no where close

Agree with all this. But the MYP is not cool. The GLC AMG is. Is it worth the cost? Up to you to decide.
I mean if you make it and don’t spend it. Why bother making it?
I would love to see Max and his lady get whatever it is they actually want BUT I also understand his peril as a natural born I am still sort of apprehensive about the BRZ as blowing $35K on a pointless car just seems so dumb even though I want it and think it's fun.
That's exactly where we've hit the impasse. The MYP is the most practical choice... but it is also the most common car in california. Yes the "performance" is lowered has different brakes (red) and wheels (useless to me). So it is a bit different... but not different enough IMO.
Lady "WANTS" a Range Rover or a Porsche with the "Crest in the headset, regardless of engine" or a Model X but we're both rational enough to not give in to emotions fully. She is fully aware of how much it costs to "drive" what we want... which is an extra 1k a month almost...
The Model Y is fking ugly. Basically an even EVEN MORE tupperware toaster than the Model X and NO LAMBO DOORS.max225 wrote: ↑Tue Jan 17, 2023 1:46 pmThat's exactly where we've hit the impasse. But with all that... it is a Toaster... a great toaster but a toaster. There is no audible noise from it, its kind of bulbous and ugly, is that really what I want to park 60k in?! So here we are.

Yeah. Bubble toaster. I’m not really a fan of the looks personally, although they probably are really roomy inside. I do like the model 3 tho.Desertbreh wrote: ↑Tue Jan 17, 2023 2:02 pmThe Model Y is fking ugly.
