Odd too as Mini seems to have quite a take rate on manual, based on what I see around town and on the used market.
They sell more autos. They make a higher profit on autos. Makes sense to pause the manuals.
:dat: Sad but true.

They also sell almost no 2 door poopers ... the level of customization was/is insane in those cars as is. It was a differentiating factor but no one seems to give a fk so they stopped caring also.

Right. I enjoyed having 4 doors again with the Subaru. 2 didn't work for me in the GTI.

I had no idea the Oktoberfest Super Cruiser was a 2 door.

Prolly around 80-85k.
Btw what’s the cost structure and procedure for posting on there? You have to hire a photographer right ?

Nope, my old man shot the car on his own using his phone. They gave him some guidelines for taking photos, someone wrote the listing, but that was it. He said it was $100 to list, and no other fees.

He's thinking it should go in the $80k range too. He paid $62k for it back in 2016. :notbad: "investment"

It's funny, he wants it GONE. He's too afraid to drive it, so it's just a garage ornament at this point. Owning a nice condition collectible car is :nope: for him.

Yea, it feels like the right time too. Things may not tank in value, but they're not going to climb much higher than where they are now for quite a while, probably.

It's a super cool car. He originally bought it to drive it into the ground because he just likes the car itself. Then the last few years of crazy valuation gains started, and it took the fun out of it for him. He put 5k miles on it over the last two years, it's hard to actively depreciate an otherwise appreciating asset.

My old man wants cars to drive, not just look at. He said he's more excited about the :flaccid: ZFG C3 than the Vagon.

I dunno why this intrigues me. I assume it's a disaster to own, but would be a fun cruiser. :iono:

330ci's are :notbad: Change up the cooling system, and fix a leak or two here and there, refresh the suspension and its good for another 10 years... E46s that are NON M cars and non ZHP cars, are really sweet and pretty reliable.

IMO they are also the best looking BMWs after the E30s.

I always wanted an e46, and agreed they are the best looking inside and out. I'd usually ignore a car like this, but :manuel: original owner in a decent color combo is interesting. Where I live, top down cruising is 5/7 in the summer and it should get better MPG on the highway than the 4R. Seems decent for $10k. :iono:

It intrigues you because it is universally accepted as a well engineered, fun to drive convertible manual car with a sweet six cylinder and convertible that actually presents as a reasonably decent value after witnessing almost a year of prison rape overpricing in virtually every automotive segment

The cool thing about E46s ... them along side of E90s are absolutely at the bottom of BMW depreciation... they will only go up from here. Like the E30s are appreciating... and so are the E36s

There is nothing :gaydance: about a manual E46 vert in blue. :stfu: if you want you can go fancier and get one with less miles... but the prices start to get stupid sub 70k miles.

I have a hard time believing that this thing will go up at all from $10k. If anything, it seems too high for the mileage. The :manuel: is the only desirable element. Maybe the long first owner would appeal to someone? :iono: This would be a use and lose proposition and nothing more.

Isn't any BMW vert that isn't a Z or M pretty much worthless?
