I about died on a pretty easy bike ride this morning, but I've been out in the heat four days in a row on the bike and have also been on a bit of a calorie defishit. and I are going to Thailand in about a month, trying to get some abs for the occasion
Work is busy this week. Gearing up for our big trade show (first time since 2019) in Las Vegas next week. I'm pretty stoked for some desertscapes, I really miss seeing the Western US frequently.

Oh wow you're going to Vegas in balls deep summer. Should be a lot of fun and you don't have to eat at McCheap because #paidfor. Lots of great eateries out there...

Yeah man... I feel like things are a little weird at work, like I was very well liked in the org and now the management hates me for some reason. It may just be in my head... but I feel like I will just get canned out of the blue one day. Needless to say, may as well get some food on the company dime while I have the luxury.
And it will certainly be hot as hell... this trade show alternates between Orlando and Las Vegas each year, why they do it in June is other than it's likely cheaper. Travel was not though... Five nights at Resorts World - $1550... Flight - $1060 round trip from CLT.

Yea I am planning $1M in T&E for my team this year... it was 200k last year
Oh shiett mine is today. Happy belated birthday comrade
Same to you broski ! What are the celebration plans?
Basically going to fl and universal was my birthday celebration. I met bestie and showed me where she grew up. Along with the day at the beach.
Also reason why she meets with parents is because they're going to turkey this weekend. I just couldn't let them leave without meeting her otherwise it would've been awkward if I take her to Turkey.
Nephew of a a few first gen immigrant on DFD, resident turk, and ex nazi egg lover now driving a middle class mom mobile.

Which beach ? That sounds like a grand time. Are hotels still stupid expensive out there. ?
Speaking of birthdays, went to a milestone birthday party for an old college buddy of mine over the weekend. Saw a bunch of friends, including some friends I hadn't seen in over 20 years and we all picked up right where we left off. The party was outside on my buddy's patio. Got him a bottle of tequila that he was kind enough to share and it was . The weather was gorgeous, ate a ton, drank a bit, and it was such a 5/7 evening overall. Best Memorial day weekend in I don't know how long.
Where are these mangos?

High quality tequila is worlds better than the cheap stuff. I'm a fan of good tequila, but we seldom see it for under $200/bottle nowadays, and I just don't like booze enough to pay that for myself.

Mom bunny dropped these cuties off in our flower planter. She's starting to take them out a few at a time. Were 7, down to 2 today.
Awww
My cat caught a mouse today. Not quite as cute as this.

Pics of mouse?
Yeah I should have got one when I was holding it. Pretty cute really. I think they live next door and we occasionally get one in our house. Cat has caught 3 so far in the last year, she's earning her keep.
