Indeed. I found out my engine is delayed, so swap will be in summer (yuk) and ordered my new slave cylinder to get the car back on the road, rod knock and all
I'll likely get my tires mounted up too so if i see any of the slow bois from the cuck crew on the hill I can gap them in a clapped out, knocking, oil burning, stock everything, 27 year old, 130hp chick car.

I remember the slave cylinder job on my NA being kind of a PITA, don't recall whyBig Brain Bradley wrote: ↑Thu Apr 07, 2022 10:37 amIndeed. I found out my engine is delayed, so swap will be in summer (yuk) and ordered my new slave cylinder to get the car back on the road, rod knock and all

How many miles are on the engine ? Any ideas why it decided to drop its bottom end?Big Brain Bradley wrote: ↑Thu Apr 07, 2022 10:37 amIndeed. I found out my engine is delayed, so swap will be in summer (yuk) and ordered my new slave cylinder to get the car back on the road, rod knock and all

150k. It was already burning quite a bit, and apparently quite a bit more than I thought. I prob hurt it from starving going around corners at the dragon and obviously not keeping a close enough eye on it. Who knows what kind of abuse it endured the other 25 years and 145k miles before i got it.max225 wrote: ↑Thu Apr 07, 2022 11:44 amHow many miles are on the engine ? Been binge watching some engine tear down vids and I always find engine failures fascinating. 9/10 times it’s lack of maintenance/oil starvation. Occasionally there are quality/design issues also. But clearly assuming someone else’s “baby” of 10 years leaves a lot questions unless you get a stack of records.

Yep. I bought a 1500 dollar clapped out 25 year old car. It polished up decent. I drove the piss out of it. Shit happens.max225 wrote: ↑Thu Apr 07, 2022 12:09 pmGot it.Big Brain Bradley wrote: ↑Thu Apr 07, 2022 12:05 pm

I feel like Philly is underrated as a city, I think it can be just as much fun as a trip to NYC.

I'd love to visit, it's been on our list for ages, just haven't found the time. One of these days, I'd like to spend a month or 2 in NYC checking out the city AND nearby surrounding cities. There's so much to see and do,D Griff wrote: ↑Fri Apr 08, 2022 1:08 pmMexicanYarisTK wrote: ↑Thu Apr 07, 2022 2:49 pm Just booked a small weekend trip to Philly for the weekend

It's snowing here today. Nothing is sticking, but damn. I still prefer it to hot as balls

Doesn't an Airstream cost as much as a house in Traverse City?Desertbreh wrote: ↑Fri Apr 08, 2022 2:39 pmIs she being told how you guys should just move to an Airstream in your in law's back yard?
