OT XXX: COVID Off Topic
Checking in.... was not an issue after thr jab but i have had a fever all day along today with achiness and headaches. Ive slept most of the day...similar to my 2nd jab reaction. Last time i got through this stage in a day, so hoping tomorrow i am in good shape.
Not with the top down! I pretty much only drive it if I can go topless.

Man, back to feeling like this morning. Been 5 days, I thought it was beat Wednesday, now it's a slow slide back down. Crazy head congestion, sore throat, cold/achy, I sweated like crazy most of the night, now I'm exhausted.
Wild.
Wild.

Get some rest bro. Try to sleep as much as you can, take a sick day at work and just rest + hydrate as much as you can.

The fact that it is such an unusual progression makes me think it likely is COVID. Hopefully you beat it soon, man!
I had a sore throat and cough last night I feel fine this morning although I went for a run and my HR seemed higher than normal
is going to work every day at her germ factory (K-8 school) and they have 12 teachers out at the moment (at a 400-450 kid school, so significant chunk of the population) with the 'VID. We are likely

And his boss just asked him if he’s too sick to work tomorrow. Fucking boomers, man.
Thankfully he’s vaccinated and boosted and should largely be fine.
Sorry dude. Hope he comes around soon.

When I said booster I should clarify something that actually works against the infection… not the current mess we’re in …max225 wrote: ↑Tue Jan 04, 2022 8:23 pmmax225 wrote: ↑Tue Jul 20, 2021 1:15 pm Bring back even more restrictive lock downs because things are spiraling out of control while still blaming unvaccinated (Holidays 21)

Booster shot availability for the rich/famous/politicians (December 21)
Peak variant and subsequent declines due to everyone having had it + vaccines (dec-March)
Booster shot availability for the common man (March 2022)
Back to normal for 2 months
New variant and rinse and repeat
That's my 12 month outlook
Looks like March was spot on also.
As Pfizer just announced omicron “booster” by … wait for it March.

Been 8 days since I first experienced symptoms, and today is the first day where I feel like I'm actually legitimately improved. Head congestion has been the most consistent, but even that has subsided quite a bit today. Aches and pains mostly gone. Hopefully I'll be feeling near 100% by the weekend.

Going to take the 4th one too after reading that chapter?
Fuck off with that.
so hope you all better and had time to reflect.... what have we learned....

This appeal to authority is stupid. When PHIZER while publishing its data to the fda, which I might add is in the most favorable light possible because you know, money, has a table showing kids are at equal risk from AE's from the vaccine as they are from covid, I don't need an expert in any field to make that call for me.
You should inform the FDA that their widely audited and reviewed processes are wrong. Better yet, include the tens or hundreds of thousands of scientists and researchers worldwide who have dedicated their lives to developing new effective treatments.
Yea bruh. you lock a guy that is pretty bright that used to be a researcher in his house for a month he/she gonna look into things. The science on everything around covid is nearly criminally bad. Actually not nearly, is. People need to go to jail over this.
glad you are turning the corner dude.Detroit wrote: ↑Tue Jan 11, 2022 2:12 pm Been 8 days since I first experienced symptoms, and today is the first day where I feel like I'm actually legitimately improved. Hows this for trolling? With the r value for the 'cron its coming for everyone, including you. Take your vitamins and shit so you are well positioned to have a quick recovery, because with your heart shit if it gets into your blood you are in for a real bad time.
My Wifes Niece entered the nursing profession about the same time as you, and i really feel for you guys. It was the worst of the worst. While I personally thing the covid response is overblown on a national level, on a local one hospitals clearly get stressed and go through tough periods and it sucks. Also remember you are seeing the literal worst of everything sickness related in a big hospital, so your vantage point is skewed as to how bad it is. Also 100% agree to stay the eff out the hospital if at all possible...treat early and stay of the Remdesivir.
But even the CDC director is pointing out that many of the hospital cases these days are 'with covid' vs 'from covid' ...and after the first wave this was largely the case.

What’s the new thing the CDC released? Most “covid deaths” have had four or more comorbidities? JFC. How about instead of mandating vaccines that kinda make you not feel as bad when you get it which you still will, we mandate how much processed food people are allowed to eat and how often they have to break a fucking sweat exercising.

I love this so much, but not one doctor thinks like that, and apparently right now a few doctors, politicians and lobbyists are steering the ship.SAWCE wrote: ↑Wed Jan 12, 2022 5:28 pm What’s the new thing the CDC released? My doctor actually suggested I lose weight and exercise rather than getting a booster. I was shocked.Tar wrote: ↑Wed Jan 12, 2022 5:34 pmI love this so much, but not one doctor thinks like that, and apparently right now a few doctors, politicians and lobbyists are steering the ship.SAWCE wrote: ↑Wed Jan 12, 2022 5:28 pm What’s the new thing the CDC released? Then I probably got the thing anyway, but I'm not dead yet.

Oh, I meant not feel as bad from the ‘Vid, not the shot itself. I didn’t feel anything at all from either of my doses. Soreness at the injection spot, but localized to there and lasted maybe half a day?[user not found] wrote: ↑Wed Jan 12, 2022 5:49 pmI felt pretty fine with my last jab. We've all felt a bit run down after flu shots, and those are a fairly normal thing to do these days. Also, Meal Team Six would like to have a word with you regarding your ideas on limiting processed food consumption or sweat mandates. Freedom is a McDouble edged sword, sir.

Oh I know.. I’m only partly serious. I don’t think that stuff should actually be mandated.. just funny seeing the info come out finally while all lot of us were suggesting that that was the case the whole time.Desertbreh wrote: ↑Wed Jan 12, 2022 5:34 pmYou're killing me Smalls.SAWCE wrote: ↑Wed Jan 12, 2022 5:28 pm What’s the new thing the CDC released? I just let my feathers get rubbed the wrong way sometimes with all the bullshit going on between this and the HAES movement and all that good stuff.

Kid is sounding a bit like the start of a cold and I have a stuffy nose. So it begins.
