Griff is still leading in the polls, I can't let this stand. Here's some
Platform:
Griff:
Bought a modified blue RWD BMW con that you'd see at an autocross or trackdaybro
Me:
Bought a small white AWD Crossover with a CVT common at every lesbian bar and dog park across the country
Monetary Policy:
Griff:
Bought it used and saved money
Me:
Paid MSRP for a brand new car (not a cent under)
Personal Stance
Griff:
Still semi reluctant on the purchase, treating it as a stopgap
Me:
Likes the purchase a lot and sees nothing wrong with it
Remember that you're voting for the worst cuck move on the forum. The only thing Griff cuck'd was letting his wife set a price limit. He didn't buy a brand new car, which is the dumbest thing any of us as "enthusiasts" can do. AND he already has a JL soft top in the fleet, so he has two generally accepted vehicles.
I PAID MSRP FOR A NEW LESWAGON WITH NOTHING ELSE IN THE GARAGE AND AM HAPPY ABOUT IT
Goodbye worst forum member, hello biggest cuck !! Who has the cuckiest vehicle of them all!?

We know the backstory of loathing in the 328i.
It was too slow
It didn’t handle well enough
It had the exhaust changed and then changed back
It didn’t have Bluetooth
It was deemed “more booring than a gti”
It was bought back for 5k or something more than it was sold for … in the ultimate cuck move
You went in on something that will get pawned off to the wife quicker than you can say Dodge brothers once the s come back in 6 months.
Also no way will the CT2 stay longer than 24 months.
:disclaimer: I voted for neither one of you

If only the kids would leave, then I'd actually be able to get rid of the cuckmobile.Detroit wrote: ↑Thu Jul 15, 2021 9:49 am As a fellow Subicuck, I'd argue that using a Subaru to give up makes more sense than posing in a 3-row crossover "sport" mobile. Those things are a joke with no real sportiness outside of a minor HP bump and some black cosmetic parts...they're still minivans and will tank in value in short order. BUT the Subi won't. So when you're wife's boyfriend finally leaves for good, you can turn that thing into something more interesting without losing your ass on it.
Making a relatively reasonable purchase now is being done in an effort to be able to add a 3rd car to the fleet around the time my son is off to kindergarten in 3 years.

Are you the one that voted for you? You've got the least cuck'd garage here. Your still has her old car, your purchases were 100% your choice, zero cucking involved.max225 wrote: ↑Thu Jul 15, 2021 10:24 amWe know the backstory of loathing in the 328i.

I'm probably going to be putting more miles on CT2 than the wife. I'm very likely going to be commuting downstate on a monthly basis, and I can't think of a better vehicle to do it in than the CT2. I won't kid myself with forecasting staying power, but it doesn't really matter. The fact is, I bought one of the worst cars on the market at new MSRP with nothing else in the stable and I'm happy about it. Who else has done something that stupid?
That's indisputable ultimate cuck status, I rest my case.

The point is, who knows what could change. Wife might get a new vehicle and you'll have the opportunity to turn the Subi into something else. You're buying future flexibility with the Outback. Those fake poser "enthusiast" minivan things cost quite a bit more, have less features, will tank in value faster, and still be relatively at the end of it.coogles wrote: ↑Thu Jul 15, 2021 10:25 amIf only the kids would leave, then I'd actually be able to get rid of the cuckmobile.Detroit wrote: ↑Thu Jul 15, 2021 9:49 am As a fellow Subicuck, I'd argue that using a Subaru to give up makes more sense than posing in a 3-row crossover "sport" mobile. I dunno I really like Detroit as a name. Has a lot of girth and history behind it. Can’t be anything else even if goes to Something like Coral Gables.

Nice hypothesis, but the wife isn’t getting a new vehicle unless we determine it’s time to bail on the Atlas for a minivan. If that happens, I’ll be THE ultimate cuck, driving the Odyssey around while my wife takes over the Outback.Detroit wrote: ↑Thu Jul 15, 2021 10:36 amThe point is, who knows what could change. I agree with you on the last part, though. Those “enthusiast” SUVs still suck to drive, save maybe a Trackhawk.

I am not… matter of fact I’m curious who did. My choices have some cuck there also, but also a bit of “luck” I just couldn’t find s for the life of me but I was 60/40 split on manuel to auto and there are attributes for both.Detroit wrote: ↑Thu Jul 15, 2021 10:34 amAre you the one that voted for you? That said … it makes sense in today’s market. I’m not simping for a cuck here but the way I see it.
1. Limited depreciation
2. Does everything you want/need it to do.
3. New/requires 0 worry
4. Not a bad deal… yes it’s msrp. But these had at most 2-3 k on the hood prior. Hell a mirage appreciated more.
5. I don’t see it as the final solution but a stop gap
The ct1 was a cuck move, I will not apologize on your behalf there. Matter of fact it was so terrible it makes your current move so god damn enjoyable. You cucked so hard on the first one that anything else is a huge step up.

Yea, it's more a state of mind than a city. Grit, unconventional, rather sketchy.

I am not going to lie… remembering 30 cars and owners with random nick names etc is pretty hard. Something didn’t sit right with me between all the Golf R gti owners … it was the most common car here so it made things a bit noodley in my mind, especially that the most common color is blue also.
But all that said my apologies and I did make a rapid correction.

That is the ultimate cuck move not forcing the wife to take the minivan.coogles wrote: ↑Thu Jul 15, 2021 11:03 amNice hypothesis, but the wife isn’t getting a new vehicle unless we determine it’s time to bail on the Atlas for a minivan. Still, the Outback is cheaper, which frees up opportunity for a 3rd vehicle like you've mentioned.
All "enthusiast" SUV suck to drive. Trackhawk is just fast, that's it. Meh.

It would be, I agree, but the odd reality is she hates minivans more than I do. I would 100% be buying an Odyssey instead of the Outback with this purchase if it could fit in the garage alongside the Atlas.
