As a fellow Subicuck, I'd argue that using a Subaru to give up makes more sense than posing in a 3-row crossover "sport" mobile. Those things are a joke with no real sportiness outside of a minor HP bump and some black cosmetic parts...they're still minivans and will tank in value in short order. BUT the Subi won't. So when you're wife's boyfriend finally leaves for good, you can turn that thing into something more interesting without losing your ass on it.

If only the kids would leave, then I'd actually be able to get rid of the cuckmobile.

Making a relatively reasonable purchase now is being done in an effort to be able to add a 3rd car to the fleet around the time my son is off to kindergarten in 3 years.

I'm probably going to be putting more miles on CT2 than the wife. I'm very likely going to be commuting downstate on a monthly basis, and I can't think of a better vehicle to do it in than the CT2. I won't kid myself with forecasting staying power, but it doesn't really matter. The fact is, I bought one of the worst cars on the market at new MSRP with nothing else in the stable and I'm happy about it. Who else has done something that stupid?

I am not… matter of fact I’m curious who did. My choices have some cuck there also, but also a bit of “luck” I just couldn’t find s for the life of me but I was 60/40 split on manuel to auto and there are attributes for both.

That said … it makes sense in today’s market. I’m not simping for a cuck here but the way I see it.
1. Limited depreciation
2. Does everything you want/need it to do.
3. New/requires 0 worry
4. Not a bad deal… yes it’s msrp. But these had at most 2-3 k on the hood prior. Hell a mirage appreciated more.
5. I don’t see it as the final solution but a stop gap

I am not going to lie… remembering 30 cars and owners with random nick names etc is pretty hard. Something didn’t sit right with me between all the Golf R gti owners … it was the most common car here so it made things a bit noodley in my mind, especially that the most common color is blue also.

It would be, I agree, but the odd reality is she hates minivans more than I do. I would 100% be buying an Odyssey instead of the Outback with this purchase if it could fit in the garage alongside the Atlas.
