Like smoked on the lens? My truck is not that cool. I just need max power lumens. The Black Oak shit is excellent quality though and not as pricey as Baja Designs or a few others.

And no on the Jag. I like the supercharged coupe, no vert in my life. Thanks for the ideas though, trying to provide some content. I'm very happy on the sidelines right now.

It is a good time to be benched for sure. C6GS is pretty dang epic, but you made a good call. There will always be plenty of Corvettes that people like us can afford in our lifetimes, even if Porsches have become out of reach in many cases.Desertbreh wrote: ↑Sat Jun 12, 2021 2:03 am And no on the Jag. Yeah when you tank the value of a car by performing basic maintenance on it, you're too cool for me. In Corvette upgradelandia perhaps a C7Z or just wait out refinements to the C8. I saw a guy in one yesterday and the thing (C8) was pretty bad ass.D Griff wrote: ↑Thu Jun 24, 2021 8:36 amIt is a good time to be benched for sure. Wonder if it’d be worth driving the van out there for him to do all the little bodywork needed once I sort the CEL out and got it registered and everything.. although with the cost of gas I’d probably negate any money saved by him doing the workDesertbreh wrote: ↑Thu Jun 10, 2021 1:43 pmYeah I took it to a standard insurance approved bodyshop and they wanted $1400. I asked my Tahoe mechanic if he knew of a body guy that was reasonable and he said "I have a body shop out back, I'll do it for $500".............and yeah I agree it looks good.

Nah, Americans are too dumb with cash. Whatever was saved due to cucking at home and .gov cash money is going to be gone my Christmas. Also everything has opened up like crazy from April till now.. can’t open any more than open. My prediction is by winter things will be far far more reasonableDesertbreh wrote: ↑Thu Jun 24, 2021 12:38 pmI feel like it is going to be a full year before we see where this mad mad world is headed.

I have other things on my mind today. We're putting down our second (and last) dog in about 2 hours, about 10 months after the last one. My dishwasher, which I thought I fixed with a new gasket (didn't leak for a month) pissed all over my kitchen floor this morning I almost killed myself slipping in the water. My CLOTHES washer is starting to throw an "F21" code signaling some sort of drainage problem. Both of these items work well and are very nice but they are also 10+ years old and I tend to kill problems with fire at that point. Motherfucker, what is next?

I agree. Get past this burst of short sighted spending, and by the turn of the year things should be closer to normal, or on the downswing. That's why pushing off major purchases RIGHT NOW is wise. Things will start getting better by August-September I bet.max225 wrote: ↑Thu Jun 24, 2021 12:55 pmNah, Americans are too dumb with cash.
