Let myself hit snooze once before getting up and heading to the gym for my cardio. Came home and did 20 minutes of mobility work. Having breakfast now, then I may get back in bed for a nap. Michelle works, so will be nice to have a day just by myself to fuck off. Might take one of my meals to the beach and just go relax there for a bit.
Interesting. Sounds like today is a good day.

Our appraisal came back at our purchase price this morning and we got locked in at 3.25% interest. There's now nothing left that we absolutely have to do except for pay ~$100k in closing/moving costs. :wasteful:

Free shit. Pick up at the curb here. I had never lifted that HF floor jack before - holy hell is it heavy... Apparently it weighs 95 lbs according to Harbor Freight. Image

Yes the Steel ones are 95lbs. Which is fine if it never leaves your garage, but the aluminum ones are worth the price increase.

I can understand giving away the lawnmower, as long haul movers wont accept anything with a gas engine generally but why are you abandoning the jack and the stands? Weight savings?

Yes. I already have smaller, lighter jacks and stands that I use with our little car. These big ones were used back when I had the Audi wagons and now they're just dead weight which adds cost to the move. ~200 lbs of jack and stands costs practically $200 to move, I can buy new ones if necessary for that price.

We also have zero grass in our new yard so the mower is useless.

Also after all of the recalls I don't think that those HF jack stands should be used/valued by anyone... :doomed:

I was really hoping for an Ecoboost Transit but for $175 for a week I can't really complain.

So the itinerary has been set.

Day 1 Death Valley/Vegas
Day 2 Vegas
Day 3 Grand Canyon/ Scottsdale
Day 4/5 Scottsdale
Day 6/7 San Diego
Day 8 LA

Taking the taco from the home base. Decided not to fly at the moment/due to various complexities. And it’ll hit the place where we got engaged and a few places where we haven’t been.

Ugh, I definitely hurt my lower back carrying that damn jack from the basement to the curb today. No way I'd be physically able to DIY a move at this point in our life. :jalepenis:

Thats awesome man, lots of travel time though. I wohld honestly suggest instead of SD, hit up sequoia and kings canyon NPs in the sierras. I did kind of the reverse a couple years ago -- LA, sequoia, DV, Vegas in 5 days and it was a lot.

Just flexing the day off in the sunshine watching girls in thong bikinis bop around the beach. My body is too relaxed to flex it right now.
