I said the same thing. Yet here I am on the other side
I still eat it when I want to, but it's just not a staple anymore.

#metoo. I still have a few beers but Tequila is my go to ATM, largely replacing brown liquor.09vdubgti wrote: ↑Wed Jan 27, 2021 1:23 pmI've not had beer since last November. Now I just drink neat, tequila has been my adult juice of choice. El Tesoro, very tasty no burn. No mixers, no chasers, ill have some water in between.

He has money... he’s the son of a dude that had a successful landscaping company in FL.
He has a bunch of unicorn BMW M cars, a 991.1 GT3, and a Ford Raptor among others.

Nice! You got this, dudeDetroit wrote: ↑Wed Jan 27, 2021 1:53 pmI've found that veggies like broccoli and cauliflower are pretty satiating, those have been my go-to along with chicken and fish (salmon). Haven't had fatty protein in a while, but I do have half a NY Strip thawed in the fridge that I'm probably going to eat for dinner with a pile of steamed broccoli. The wants are real.SAWCE wrote: ↑Wed Jan 27, 2021 1:50 pm
Calorie deficit is the only way to burn fat/lose weight.
If you’re starving, look a more satiating foods. Potatoes are great for staying full. Lean proteins. I’d start with a low fat approach since fat has twice as many calories as carbs and protein, so you’ll feel less full while injecting more calories if you have much fat in your diet.

If I'm at Costco I get the 1.75 of Herradura Reposado for $55. If I am in more challenging pricing situations I get Cazadores Reposado. (Stag on the front.)Detroit wrote: ↑Wed Jan 27, 2021 3:16 pmWhat's your go-to tequila?Desertbreh wrote: ↑Wed Jan 27, 2021 3:13 pm

If youre just starting out maybe chill it a bit.
Im a blanco/cilver guy tho dont really drink dark liquors
So I guess a quick tl;dr...If I am trying to lean up (burn fat) should I be doing higher weights/lower reps or lower weights and more reps?
Also I went to trader joes and bought their mexican cauliflower rice, going to have it with their marinaded pollo asado (chicken). I love using the pan with the grill marks, i like seeing the char lines. Reminds me of summer.
Now that is an interesting mix lol. I guess it should make sense though since both of them have citrus of sort in them.

Both will work equally well as long as you train to failure. Heavy weight/low rep is going to strain your joints and connective tissue more, so I prefer a more moderate weight where you’re hitting failure somewhere between 10 and 20 reps (I like that lower 10-12 side for most body parts: chest, back, arms, etc, and the higher end 15-20 reps for legs..)
Make sure you eat enough protein (1g per pound of body weight), and then play with your fats and carbs to see if you feel better on higher carbs lower fats or lower carbs higher fats. From there just lower the calories slowly by pulling carbs and fats as needed to maintain the weight loss. Shoot for 1-2% of your bodyweight lost each week. Actual cardio isn’t necessary, but just make sure you stay active. If you have something that tracks your steps set a goal of 10k steps a day to start, and slowly bump that number up to burn more calories.
