Ugh, power has been out again for a couple of hours now. How long does stay frozen generally in a regular freezer?

If you think it'll be out for a while you could go to the nearest gas station or 7-11 and buy some bags of ice to put in the fridge and the freezer to help things stay cold
Good luck, mang.

Small town lyfe I guess. We only had some moderately heavy rain. No clue why the power is even out.wap wrote:That sucks.troyguitar wrote: ↑Mon Aug 10, 2020 9:48 pm Ugh, power has been out again for a couple of hours now. How long does stay frozen generally in a regular freezer?

It could be anything. A branch blown down that fell on a power line, or, what actually happened to us a few years ago, a squirrel got into a transformer on top of a pole across the street from us and it blew up, like literally exploded with a loud bang and bright flash. Poor roasted squirrel.troyguitar wrote: ↑Mon Aug 10, 2020 9:58 pmSmall town lyfe I guess. We only had some moderately heavy rain. No clue why the power is even out.wap wrote: That sucks.

All those giant storms broke up over Michigan, we got zero rain last night.
Spent 30 minutes watering this morning.

It's warm and humid here but I was just out on the bike for 2 hours in the sun NFG. Feels good to not be cold. Gonna go have lunch outside this afternoon while I get the oil changed in the car. This is probably our last 90F day until next July.

I like to go out in the morning when I know it's going to be that hot in the day. Leaving around 6-6:30am is riding in 60-70 degree temps

Maybe in flatland. Roll down hills at 40 mph and even 70 feels cold.

Yea, I have ZERO elevation change over my regular 20 mile ride. I'll be sweating by the 5th mile in 65 degree temps.troyguitar wrote: ↑Tue Aug 11, 2020 12:43 pm Maybe in flatland. Roll down hills at 40 mph and even 70 feels cold.

Yeah, I hate humidity.
Next week I'm going back to Arizona and Vegas where it will be 110+, but at only 10-12% humidity it doesn't feel anywhere near as hot as you would think.
