BTW, I'm VERY curious to follow along with this. Would love to do something similar one day. Did you hire and architect and builder or going as much DIY as possible?

we are working with a local builder in the area that comes highly recommend.

supposed to close on land in 3 hours. after multiple requests, no closing disclosure, no final numbers, no answer on if a cashier's check is ok, no answer on wire transfer fees.

Guess what title company we won't use for the construction loan?
